I mean, Junior just kinda gets a lecture from his dad and things are just perfect, I feel like Junior learns more from actions than words, only after he almost lost his sister did he learn how much he likes her, which is why I had his sister's death be a dream, it still happened but he didn't lose his sister.

Not only that but Mimi and Jeff are just rescued without much trouble, and there isn't much that's gained from them getting rescued early, I do have some plans, but things won't be as simple.

Junior gets his powers without much fanfare and Mimi and Jeff get rescued and nothing interesting comes from it.

I agree mostly with what you're saying but. . Why does he need Fanfare to get his powers?

And I know this is not exactly a fair comparison but look at Greece's gods. They're just kind of born with their power. Granted they use it for nothing but themselves but still

I know, but it's part of Junior's arc, greek gods don't go through character arcs.

After Jr. realizes that he DOES care about his sister after almost losing her, the emotional termoil causes him to awaken his powers early, Jr. powers awakening are symbolic of him growing as a person.
