Sure. Carter's biologically female, but I only actually refer to her as female because of a coin flip I did. If I'd gotten heads, I'd be referring to Carter as male.

Depends on the person. Carter sounds feminine enough, but she doesn't really talk much. She looks either like a very feminine boy or a boyish girl, but she won't care if Carter calls her a guy or a girl, though she's biologically female. And yeah, I read her bio.

OK I think Mari would be fine around Carter. Even if they are gender-neutral they are still way more feminine than the others. She would also see this as a chance to get over her fear.

Maybe, yeah. Carter's kind of in limbo when it comes to how each gender typically acts. She's like a chick with too much testosterone, or a guy with too much estrogen. Then there's the fact that she's kind of creepy because of how little she talks and how much she people-watches.
