Actually, I'm pretty sure that IS the way the world works. You take enough vitamins, you'll be 600 by tomorrow morning, and if I stare at my computer long enough, tomorrow, the essay I have to write for history will be done! If I want it enough. Which I do.
I've found that for quick aging, a combination of Flintstones and fish oil vitamins works best. Just chug. Chug away.
