that's cool. i haven't been able to draw much at the moment now. reason. i get nothing to draw. no requests, trades and commissions. plus there aren't anymore many people to request or trade with. all the best ones are taking only commissions.

Well, I guess it's only a matter of being persistent in improving on your art and pushing your sales etc out there to show that people have alternatives if their favourite artist isn't available.

Heck, I'm still trying to get commissions myself despite being alright at my retail job so far.

yeah, but i still think that people see me as not worth to commission or ask any kind of art at all. which makes me think that the ysee me as bad artist. i don't blame them.

Well, just keep on putting yourself out there. I mean, I thought that wouldn't happen to me at all via Facebook but I still get odd commissions every now and then. Persistence does pay off and try to expand to more social media sites apart from dA aswell.

It's still really easy to set up one and doesn't cost anything to keep an account at all. Believe me, I was skeptical about the whole thing but in 2012, got one and I've been very successful with commissions and buying items on Ebay, Amazon while using Paypal as an extra security layer and it truly works wonders.
