oh, it's a movie... it's about fairies protecting the rainforest... there are humans cutting down the trees and one of the workers gets shrunk to the tiny size of the fairies and learns their way of seeing the forest... it's a nice film...
i saw your list of fave movies and this one would fit in perfectly...
btw. did you see "avatar"? it's a sort of similar story but told for grown ups with latest tricks and stuff, while "fern gully" is an animated film for kids...
