Hehe! Thank you. No---I just saw it looking for a place to land on the lawn and I took pics of it on a few of the perches (blades of grass) that it chose. When I downloaded, I loved this one! The angle of its face makes it look cute and I like the colors in this one.

the clarity of all the lines is just awesome! we have some damselflies or mayflies ( i havent got around to looking them up yet) that hang around the fishpond in summer, they are great to watch. Real sense of peace there.

The little one zinging around the flags in the pond is definately a damselfly. The body shape is right, its even a similar blue to the vivid dancer pictured.
We have stunning orange Dragonflies from time to time, but rarely. I think the pond is a little small for them to be bothering with!

Oh, I wish I had some orange ones! I've noticed that even a little water does attract them---even when I'm just out watering with my hose.

There's something aboout them that just ought to be impossible, but they still manage to fly and catch enough food for them to hang around decently. Unfortunately its winter over here, so none about. What season are you in?
