We have 10- here on a good day, then add the chilling sea breeze and it feels like you don't have fingers... x'D
I'd love to switch! But my Mally loves this weather, so I try to look on the bright side!
Luckily the dark period is over now, we had two months with only 1 hour of light per day!!
I need some D Vitamin!! D
We are planing to move either to New South Wales, close to Central coast. Or down to Tasmania.
We're not sure, depends how my furry friend handles the heat.
I have heard of Mally's down there, but I don't want to shock her too badly.
I bet that you're used to another climate than me! But I bet it's still pretty amazing down there!

ohmygosh, I would die hahah ;D not to sound completely stalkerish, but can I ask where you live currently? I've always been amazed by the really long nights in those places. it's really cool!~
yeah, I reckon if you were gonna come you'd have to maybe... get her used to the climate first? There are malamutes, and huskies, and St. Bernards, and all those snowy types of dogs here and they do pretty well, but they've been used to it their whole lives, y'know? C: Tasmania is definitely cooler than New South Wales, too ;D
oh, it's always amazing here hahah. I live in Victoria, which is the most boring state, but it's still beautiful C:

It's not really cool to live in those really dark places, we live pretty far up north in norway. Atleast 2/3... I think.
I actually moved into this dark place (ha ha ha) for about a 1 1/2 year ago, I actually thought it was cool too! ^______^
But getting low on d-vitamin because of the lac of sunlight wasn't fun.
Pluss the streetlights went in our neighborhood and it took them a few days to fix it,
I felt like I was in a zombie apocalypse just walking my dog. ._______.
Not to talk about the REALLY REALLY cold breeze.
But there are good parts: It's really beautiful here, the mountains are amazing, the air is so fresh you won't believe it!
The big open wild forest just outside your doorstep.
I do like the snow too, for about 10% of the winter anyways... He he.
Well, we thought that your winter is the same heat as our summer...
So we'd go down to australia then, Burue won't even notice the change, because there hardly is one...
She'll have to be in quarantine for max 3 months... Probably less since there isn't any rabies in norway.
And then she'll have half a year of slowly getting used to the heat, maybe just have her inside the whole day the first year?
Go out with her after the suns gone down? We don't know yet.
We just want to live close to our family.
My mother's going crazy about her neightbor having a Mally, hehe! So we know they can handle it..
But neither me or my husband really likes the heat, so maybe we'll go a little further down... Tasmania... Sounds great! ^______^
I bet it is amazing! I am actually an australian citizen I was just born in Norway... Ugh long story!
I want to get back there, it's so beautiful and amazing!
PS: love your pictures.

yeah, I wouldn't know what to do if I lived there at it was night all the time. I'd probably just sleep XD but what I really mean is how it's cool that the world works like that - some places light, some dark, some dark all the time C: it's fascinating XD
I can imagine it's beautiful! I would love to go to Norway, and Sweden, and Denmark (and all the places, really). It sounds amazing, you're pretty lucky - even with all the dark ;D but I totally get that you wanna move closer to your family.
And I'm glad you're thinking of ways to take your girl with you - I know some people who have left their dogs behind because it's too hard, or costs too much with quarantine and I'm like.. "why" D: I'm sure she would do well anyways, you would probably just have to keep an eye on her - but I have to keep an eye on my girl in the summer, and she's an Australian cattle dog. I mean, she was born for this xD Coming in winter definitely sounds good, all of you would need to get used to it ;D
Oh, really? That's cool! You've been here before then, obviously ;D
PS: Thank you!~ C:

Well, it's not really before you get higher up in sweden and norway you get the 24/7 sunlight in the summer and almost darkness at all times in the winter.
I completely agree though! It's pretty cool, the first time I watched northen lights dance in the skies I started screaming and jumping about.
I started calling for the people that I rent the my apartment from and they just looked weirdly at me... "It's just northern lights?"
While I was dancing and jumping about. My husband just looked at me and shook his head. Eh he.
Family is important, I have two smaller siblings below 6 years old and I really want to spend time with them!!
I am so looking forward to seeing Burue with children, she's such a teddiebear. ^_____________^
We have been disgussing it if we should leave her, for her own good... But I don't think she'll mind it to be honest...
Give her some sleeping pills from the vet and she'll sleep through the plain ride. She loves all kind of people,
so the quarantine she'll enjoy.. WHEEE NEW PEOPLE ALL THE TIME!!
And if she's struggling in the summer, we'll figure something out. ;D
The most important thing for us is that she's ok. So we're not going to take her with if we realise that it's going to be hell for her. ;_;
I have actually heard about sleeping mats for dogs that are cooling? My mother's trying to give us as many positive things so that we'll move quicker! He he
Yeah, I have... Three times now, and I'm going there next christmas... I actually was going to order tickets yesterday! Before they get too expensive D:
We're going to celebrate christmas with my family for the first time since they left norway. I'm looking so forward to it!
I might die in the heat though, going from -10 to 30 is a pretty BIG change.
PS: No worries! ;D

seeing the Northern Lights would be amazing! I guess if you live there.. but still. People still get fascinated by sunsets, and they happen everywhere every day. This is the NORTHERN LIGHTS. I would love to see them one day C:
True point, that you want to do what's best for Burue <33 See, I could never leave my girl even if it was what was best for her. I'd be like "NO! I must stay with you!" But I understand your dilemma. Honestly, it seems like she'll be fine - especially if she won't mind quarantine ;D And yeah, you can get cooling mats and, you know, you can give her a fan and a pool and ice-cubes and don't let her run around like a spaz in the middle of the day ;D
Aww, Christmas with the family is great, isn't it <33 You'll be right in the heat, hopefully! Just go swimming lots, and wear sunscreen, and stay in the shade hahah ;D

It's true! It was like a snake moving elegantly in the skies, it was marvelous!
I was so amazed, it is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen too...
A must see thing before you die! Maybe go on a holiday or something one day!
Ofcourse I want to do what's best for my girl, she's to wonderful to deserve anything else...
I must admit though, if I had to leave her here... I'd be heartbroken.
Even though I've only had about 7 months with her ish... I already love her so much! <3
Nope, she won't mind quarantine, she's big on people.. Every kind of people...
Oh! I actually wrote a lot about Burue, she got dog of the day on the 25.02! It was amazing!
Anyways... If you want to read about my little companion I'll link it!
dogoftheday.com/archive/2015/F…
You should totally give sammyy a submision to that! (I'm guessing that's her name!
Hope I'm not offending if it's wrong!) Sounds like you've got an amazing fella there!
Oh and I'll give her fan, pool, garden hose, ice-cubes, cooling mats... I'll even put her
drinking water in the freezer every day if that helped!
But how can I say no to her spazing!!! D: She's so adorable when she does that!!!!! x'D
I'm pretty sure it's going to be amazing to be there at christmas... I hope I get the kids
starting at school with me! Sounds wonderful! Wish I could just move there at once!!

I'll definitely have to go some time! I'll brave the cold to see the northern lights hahah C:
Well, even though you've only had her seven months, of course she's already a part of your life! They just... I dunno, they fit so well into your life and then suddenly you can't imagine life without them and I'm like "stop it pups you're too amazing!" but I love them still XD I can't stand living without a dog. I dunno. They're all so unique, and different, and they have these beautiful personalities. Gosh <333
I read it!~ What an adorable little girl, you're so lucky to have her! And congratulations to Burue on Dog of the Day! What a champion. That's such a beautiful story, and to hear how she bounced back from that and now she's a happy fluffy girl <33
Maybe I will give Cas a submission, even though she's my dog of the day every day hahah <33
Do not let her spaz! hahah! Be strong! We have a dam on our property, which is lucky because Cas will run around in the heat with her buddy Todd (that's the family's dog) but then run down to the dam and jump in. Some dogs don't know when to stop playing though, lil' crazy guys need to chill!
One day you will move here, don't worry! At least you're coming for Christmas C: How long are you planning to stay? C:

Yeah, fight the breeze! You can do it!... Just buy a really good jacket.
Dogs are amazing, sometimes I'd rather be around her than around
other people, which makes me very asocial... Eh he. But she's just so
easy to be around, when me and my husband walk her, it is my
favorite time. It's just so peaceful to enjoy a walk in the forest.
Well, as long as you don't meet anyone... Because then Burue
has to greet them!! hehe
Ah, I feel so lucky to have know Burue for just a second!
The personality is just magical!!
Naw, thanks! It was really exciting! We'll always honor her the
25.feb! ^___________________________________^
Yeah, it wasn't easy, she had it really tough and ofcourse
that made it tougher for us.. :/ We paid so much in bills for
her, I'm not joking if we used all of my payment for one month
just to mange through it. She got wounds on her paws and had
to wear socks on her feet at all times... When I think of it I wonder
if that's why she always eats my socks... Hmmmmmmmm...
Ofcourse she is! I did it because the person who owns the site
told me about it and I thought that it was such a cute thing I
wanted to participate!
Burue does have a little interesting story to tell too, so why not! ^^
You should totally to it with Cas though! Just for fun! ^_____^
It made it special to me just to put words on it.
I AM NOT SURE IF I'M STRONG ENOUGH! Godness, wish I had a property
with dam on it. Godness. Sadly Burue is afraid of water... She loves it
in a water gun, but hates it in a pool on the ground, she'll literally walk
anything that looks like waterpool.-.-
I'll just use the garden hose. Eh he he ehe he!
I think she'll have the sence to calm down though, very lazy girl at
times. :/ I like that about her, my couch potato!
Yeah I hope so! We're looking so much forward to next christmas,
we're actually staying for two months!
Going to do a whole bunch of things!
I'll miss Burue though. ._________________________.

I totally feel the same way - I would spend time with my dog over most people hahah xD And yeah, I love going for walks with just her - also not meeting people, but not because she would want to greet them but because she'd be scared XD We went for the walk the other day, actually, in this forest and Cas heard some people coming and we had to run back to the car and wait for them to leave ;D But then we had fun exploring the forest, and following a little creek C:
That's so nice to hear, though, that story - especially now she's happier. I mean, I love hearing what people do for their dogs because sometimes they think it's too much and just leave them D: It also makes you closer - like, you've done all that for her and now she's a part of your life <33
Yeah, it's a beautiful idea - I might do it for Cas if I can think of something cute to say about her hahah. And, from the sounds of it, Burue totally deserved to get dog of the day!
See, Cas doesn't like swimming - like all four paws of the ground, she'll only go in as far as she can stand ;D But she doesn't like it from the hose, or a bath XD But yeah, you could set up sprinklers for Burue to run around in! That'd be cute C:
aww, that sounds fun! Are you going to do a bit of exploring and travelling? C: Have you got someone to look after her? She'll miss you too ;D I remember when I went away for a month, I came home and Cas was like "is it... is it really you?" and she didn't jump around or go crazy, she just looked happy <333

SORRY FOR NOT ANSWERING EARLIER!
I am so asocial at times though, I always like spending time with Burue more than I like with others.. My husband is something else though, he's my soulmate. You don't get tired from being around someone like that! Ahw! Is he really that scared? I wish Burue was more like that, she wants to greet everyone and I hate it. -.-
I don't want to greet everyone. x'D
I love exploring places with Burue though! We just had some in the forest and we found a hidden place, it was beautiful. It's from curiousgirl actually! ^^
Ofcourse I'd do that for her, I'd do anything. Worst thing is she actually bit me the second day we met, and I got so scared I didn't pet her almost and every time I see a puppy photo of her I get goose bumps.
She didn't mean any harm, it was another huge dog that scared her so much she peed herself. It was really bad situation.
I just wanted to help, so I grabbed her away from him. She thought I was dangerous too and took a neat bite of my hand.
She has never bitten me since so no worries, she's not agressive at ALL! I think it made us closer, it also made me have the worst day of my life. First bitten -> hospital -> waiting -> needle -> puking because of needle -> the bi effects from needle.
It was a nightmare.
Burue neither as you know, she hates water. When I bicycle with her she'll jump over them or panic. x'D Sprinklers are perfect though, she loves eating the water mid air,.... HAha!
Burue likes other people more than me, her grand parents will watch over her and they don't give her any rules so we'll come back to a wilderbeast. x'D
NOT looking forward to that
