It's not often that I see people drawing in a similar style to another, I congratulate you for your talent
Whoever thinks that it's disrespectful to draw someone else's style, what I think is that those people don't see that it's okay to draw another person's style.
What I see is that you drawing in the style of EddsWorld, it's some type of tribute for him.
As for the people telling you that you are disrespecting Edd by copying his style, well, they can go tell Paul, EddsWorld's new animator that he's disrespecting Edd.

I don't keep up with "eddsworld" nor do I keep up with this artist's work either. But here is what I have to say through a third party point of view.
I came across this deviants page and noticed all of the hate-filled comments. Now, I know through experience that being bashed because your artstyle is similar to another's, hurts. I don't care if it's really similar and I don't care if you find if disrespectful, or even if you think it's a tribute, fact is, how would you feel?
If somebody came to your page and commented on your fanart saying it was crap and disrespectful toward the original creator? Or bashed your fan-comics or fanfics? I really think you wouldn't like it. A single hurtful comments can make some people really questionable about their art (I know it did for me, especially since it was from a few people and the artist who they thought I was copying.) I really looked up that artist, and having people tell me I was being disrespectful to them, stealing from them, and ruining their work, even though all I was guilty of was being influenced over years of view. It hurt me to the point where I still feel sad about it.
So, please, If you don't like something, before you bash it, think about how you would feel and keep the comment to yourself, because nobody needs a bully.
