nah finished uni, leant very little, all I know came from books and friends from uni plus animation mentor, Im now sponging off parents, doing whatever animation work I can find, trying to figure out 3D, as it seems to be the only possibly source of regular income

yes, that thing on my head is a red star. and there was supposed to be a peice of paper in my left goggle with a skull and crossbones on it pirate-style, but it fell out before the picture was taken.
can it also be full body? that would be totally cool.

then try harder, plus try adding different body shapes for visual interest. Chunky and muscular, anaemic, spiky, sexy, lanky, squat etc right now everybody tends to be equally fit and be endomorphs (skiny/never gains weight or muscle) in your comic

yes, thats quite true, and its the case with many comics...you draw your version of beauty i guess.

for work i draw big hulk muscles etc, so i like to slim it down with my comic

for tablets, don't try and get the perfect line each time, focus on the angles, keep on going over the lines until you're absolutely sure you've got the correct angle, then trace over it on a second layer to give it smoothness

plus try using a tablet bigger then a 4 x 5 as they're not brilliant for serious drawing

by the way how do you get people to look at your stuff? do you just drop lots of messages around, or just keep on releasing stuff on a regular basis? cause the last one is hard

Well, its not that easy, but its not hard at all.... if that makes sense.

Just be active in the community, A good place to go is the forums, if you have the time.

When you comment make GOOD comments. be constructive but not cruel but leave them with something that sounds like you really took the time to look at thier art for all it was worth and appreciated the work they put into it.

thank people for favs, Um... Posting stuf regularly helps, but not jsut posting but posting GOOD finished work.

Do fanart of things and post them... some people will jsut comment and fav anything to do with something they are a fan of.. that gets visitors...
really travel around da, and make sure you say hello on main pages alot or , look thru thier gallery and leave a comment on thier pain page. comment on featured devs on peoples pages alot.

um.. I think thats it..


Overall, be an active and POSITIVE member of the comunity, and dont get over anxious.. be patient. dont watch the Page views and jsut post for a love of art, and people will love your art in return ^^
