I noticed that the EXIF tag says EOS Kiss Digital, which is the 300D but only meant for Japanese consumption. I was curious as to how you came to possess a Rebel only sold in Japan.

I assume it shows as a Kiss perhaps because of the fix that was done on the camera while it was under warrenty for a common but deadly error in the cameras programming. Since it coming back, I haven' a single problem with it though its shown as a Kiss ever since. Adds character, but in actuallity my baby is only a Canadian bought Rebel.
