you're a very lucky man, i've longed to meet him in person, but i'll never get that chance now. i was distraught when i heard the news last year, but happy his work still lives on in memory. thanks again for sharing what you had. it puts a smile on my face.

NP, the message you convey is strong and resembles another artist i know. His name is Ron English ,you should go check him out.He does a ton of iconic stuff including alot of mickey mouse art. hes a pop-artist.

Hmm Im familiar with ROn English, although I've never seen his Mickey Mouse work. I know of his work with McDonalds and various cow imagery...

I just did a google search. Has he done anything other than the Marilyn Monroe/Mickey pieces? Also cleary he's a much more intelligent person than me.....even the title "POPaganda" is clever..haha

i have one of his art books. he should probably have a website of his own, but if you can't find it i can scan you some pics with only mickeymouse and stuff in it. the maryln monroe with mickey piece is probably his most well known which is why you find many of them. i found some on image google. here are a few [link] [link]
