That's quite alright, Angela; I find it quite admirable that you were able to give up Internet usage for such a great space of time. (I do not know if I could do the same. )
Thank you!
I am sorry for giving such belated responses.

Ah, I understand and respect your choice. I pray all goes well at the Academy!
I'm sorry. D: In terms of Monopoly playing, I'm a bit illiterate of it; a bet was made?

Man I want a cookie now.
Hmm... so do you have any extra-curricular activities available at early college? o_O (I'm guessing not)
And Monopoly Deal is actually different from normal Monopoly, it's a card game. Basically you try to collect 3 complete sets of a property but you and your opponents can get cards that allow you to steal them or collect rent (which if you don't have enough money to pay, you pay with properties).

(Have I replied once already? If so, ignore this; my laptop is being defiant.)
Actually, there are a few clubs that are offered; some of which, however, cannot be participated in until one is in tenth grade, I believe. (It's likely I'm wrong, though.) Among these are the Beta Club, Junior Civitan(?), and I believe a student-made club focused on the Japanese culture is underway.
Ah, I see. Pardon my being so illiterate in Monopoly; I've never been too fond of the game. I somehow always end up being the person who is sent to jail every other turn. .________.'

DatAzn In reply to Lo536 [2012-08-16 04:58:56 +0000 UTC]
o_O... it's kind of... well, in a way predictable that it'd be on Japanese culture... can't quite find the word for it, but I bet it's that manga/anime/j-pop, etc. craze. In fact... I find it kind of funny that there are probably no Japanese people in our city/county. Well... MAYBE SOME... but you get what I mean.
Also, students can start clubs? You should start one with Ariel, Anthony, Autum, and whoever else is over there.
I didn't know it was a card game either.. in fact, most people don't so don't worry. Now, while I don't get sent to jail often, I'm the one that lands on someone elses property. :/

Truth be told, I've noticed a significant amount of anime fans here. Of course, these individuals may be more noticiable simply due to the fact that we have less students here. I think a math teacher mentioned that the last seniors were particuarly fond of anime, also.
Make a club you say? That would be interesting; of what, however, I'm not certain. An art club, mayhaps? We nineth graders, though, have limited choices.
Ah, there's nothing better than a landing on someone's property every other turn. XD That's what makes Monopoly so fun, isn't it?
Because I felt this was needed.
Yes.

All of us nerds are anime freaks. Like one big happy family<3.
Well, I'm gonna try to make a debate club :3. Choose a certain topic, divide the people into 2 groups, and give them some time to make a good argument for their side and have neutral judges pick from there.
An art club sounds fun if they don't have one already. Or a book club? although I'd imagine there wouldn't be many people at that and even if there were, it'd take forever for them to read the book :/
XD I wanna play monopoly with you now.

Ah, that sounds fantastic! Forming a debate team would open new opportunities; I imagine that it would be relatively popular, also.
No; it doesn't seem there is an art club. Truth be told, I believe we rookie-Ninth graders have very limited options. I believe we cannot join the Beta Club quite yet; initiation takes place in tenth grade(?). Or so I believe.
I'm craving for a game of Egyptian-rat-slap! /Weeps forever./

There is an anthony over to my right...
and... all having our schools converge may not necessarily be a good thing because a lot of the people here look shady if you get what I mean. However, I would love to just visit there like as myself or with a small group of friends.
Also, I shall not yet rage for the first semester, because I have found 1 friend in each class except art, but I'm sure I can go without someone in art since I'll be drawing anyways. However, in the second semester I only have Gabby in spanish and mara on the bus ride to band at the high school -.- therefore I shall flip several tables.
Ah, Yes, you can rule from the Western hemisphere and I shall rule the Eastern with an iron fist.
Egyptian rat slap was that card game o.O not a video game. However, I'm pretty good at brawl with Kirby, but nowhere as good as my brother. I can beat most rookies or people that might think they're good but they really aren't.
So... how about them churros? I had one bite of one for the first time in my life over the summer. It was cinnamon coated. SO GOOD... but I was SO full that I could only get down one bite even though it was heavenly.

Yes, that would be fantastic - not necessarily have the entire 9th grade population pour into REaCH (dear Lord, that would be beyond chaotic O_O), but a few individuals to visit shortly...
Ah, congratulations! I'm glad things worked out relatively well. Speaking of which, was your first day of school pleasant?
My reign of terror will begin firstly with Canada. What will our northern neighbors think when they find that their beloved bacon is gone?!
And then, afterward, Mexico.
D'oh! This is what happens when Loren is mildly sleep deprived - she misreads everything and develops a fondness for speaking in the third person.
XD Ah, arrogant rookies. I imagine it's knocking that esteem down a notch and pwning 'em, isn't it?
I have yet to eat a churro and may never. Not necessarily because I do not want to, per se, but may not be able to get one.

Hmm... I had a sudden thought the other day... If say some random unknown person *cough Anthony cough* were to blow up RCC, would you all have to come to 9th grade academy? :U
XD and the first day was THE most BORING day EVER. However, after that, we started doing some work and I actually somewhat like it. Except for P.E.... I'm not sure if you have P.E. or how it would work if you did, but we have to change in front of the class (all girls) and I'm not looking forward to it (haven't started yet). Anyways, since we only have 4 classes, it feels like a very short day... and I'm enjoying the slight extra freedom although from what I hear, you get a lot more of it at early college. but that's kind of an obvious thing to do because the people here would ruin the place if we had that.
BACON... well I would love to add lots of hearts after that but oddly enough I actually don't like bacon. :<
Ah. When I get very sleep deprived, I'll take a nap and sleep for half a day... but when I got back from China and that extremely long plane ride, I slept an entire day... and night.
XD I'm probably one of those arrogant rookies. However, my esteem will never go down. >:3 but it's fun nonetheless to beat someone, I guess it's just human nature
Hmm that was how i felt at first, but you never know, maybe you'll visit some random place, see a churro on the menu, and get to try one.
We have such lengthy conversations, but it's nice. I don't talk to anyone else like this but I see anthony at church occasionally and he started playing maplestory with me so i see him sometimes in a real time situation.

Regarding the Anthony-blowing-up-RCC-topic, I would think so. XD If that is the case, though, what would they do with the non-REaCH college students? :V
Oh dear Lord. I remember dreading the idea of having to change before people as I child, and still do. D: I pray that all goes well in that aspect! Perhaps you'll dodge a bullet and find some way to avoid such an awkward situation.
According to my grandparents, I once loved bacon with a passion. I imagine that brief infatuation only faintly; now, the idea of eating bacon disgusts me almost immensely.
XD Ironically, I take naps very seldom. Nap for the entirety of a day? That's completely unheard of in my household. I remember that, as I child, I would try to stay awake until dawn; I would glance out my window at random intervals and play with things idly.
As you can tell, I was a very silly child.
Keep that esteem high. Loren's can be crippled all too easily. I suppose its human nature, also; we aim to either surpass or topple one another. Though more so than others.
I await the day that I visit that random place and spy 'Churro' on the menu. It would be terrible if I didn't like it, though.
I too enjoy these long conversations. 8D I'm sorry; it's fortunate, though, that you are still able to see Anthony on occasion.

Well, it's good yet bad.
You'll probably like it. It'd be like hating donuts.

Hmm; that's interesting. O_o It makes me wonder about the science behind that concept. (Oh, have you heard about tardigrades? Such interesting creatures.)
I think I was a bit on the obnoxious side as a child, to be honest.
Regarding the no-sleep topic: How precisely did you manage to do that?! XD
D: I will try. Eventually. Perhaps.
Hating donuts you say? How ironic; Whit has a passionate hatred for doughnuts. Whenever I ask her why, she often replies that they make her sick or taste disgusting.
._______. Eeyup.
XD Oh dear God.
Ah yes, they are indeed quite cute - when they are not arguing with one another or tearing at each other's necks. That is only partially an exaggeration; for some reason I have yet to understand, my sister and cousin have the tendency to argue heatedly...

Ah, so we do have to change in front of everyone, but since everyone is changing, no one looks or cares... so it's actually not that bad. Instead, P.E. is the worst part... we only do it every other week, but when we do, I'm sore that entire week.... PAINFUL.
up until now, i haven't heard of tardigrades o.O but i just read some about them on wikipedia... wow those are some amazing creatures O_O... I'd go as far as to say, their bodies could me more advanced than ours in a way of speaking.
I want to see an obnoxious you.... that sounds really interesting.... and I have no idea how i didn't fall asleep, but I remember I was REALLY bored because i couldn't make a lot of noise since everyone else was asleep... but I'm pretty sure i woke up my mom several times.
Hmm... as for donuts, I dont LOVE them, but i dont hate them either o.O... I think whitney is the only person i know that doesn't love donuts... o:

I'm glad things settled well. ^^ Ah, a week spent in excruciating pain - PE sounds fun!
Neither was I aware of tardigrades; I stumbled upon a Youtube video concerning those little creatures and decided to take a peek. Amazing indeed.
Narwhal considers herself to be immensely obnoxious, truly. I don't mean to be.
Bored you say? I can imagine how you can be; it is still a wonder to me how I busied myself over the duration of a night as a child and managed to stay awake. O_o I remember glancing out of the window and thinking, "Dawn'll be coming soon. Just a little while longer."
Dear Lord - where did that patience go? o_O
Meh, I'm not in love with donuts either (and, honestly, eat them quite seldom). XD My cousin finds peanut butter to be absolutely disgusting; we are an odd bunch.

Yes, it is absolutely wonderful, I cant sit or stand up (without support from my arms) without feeling like they're ripped to shreds on the inside.(hardly an exaggeration)
o.O it's amazing what you can find on youtube... have you hear of cymatics? I heard about it at music camp, its AWESOME :U especially when its done with like a cornstarch/water mix (in case you've never tried it, its like a liquid until you like squeeze it or sumthing and it's like it turns into a solid until you let go again and then it turns into a liquid) I saw a vid of that on youtube but idk if you can find it.
...Loren, you are the least obnoxious person that I know... honestly. XD i find it odd how at some times ill have lots of patience but yet at others it's like i have no tolerance for it at all. People have that phrase for patience... (patience is a virtue) but i find that persistence is more effective, because sometimes I'm only patient BECAUSE im persistent.
:3... odd bunch indeed.
OMAGNJWGALJWGA LOREN!SO SHIVANI WENT HEADFIRST INTO TRYING TO CREATE A SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAM HERE, THEN WHEN I'M HELPING RESEARCH THE STUFF, I FIND OUT THAT 5 OF US COULD HAVE GONE BACK TO MIDDLE SCHOOL AND COMPETED WITH THEM INSTEAD OF DOING A HIGHSCHOOL COMPETITION THATS 5x HARDER. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I'm seriously gonna be insane after this. HOWEVER, it'll look really good on my college application if i start a club... this is so bull -_- anyways, the testing subjects where you just research things im not so worried about, i'm just worried about the building events. they're 3x harder >.> I have no idea where to start with these and I'm just giving up on mission possible this year. anyways, not only did shiv not do her research, she didn't even think about all the hassle this'd be or any of the funds or buses, basically none of the hard parts.

(Do you have a twin? Very recently, I saw someone who looks precisely like you, has your mannerisms, and sounds like you! Uncanny, eh?)
D: I'm so sorry! As foolishly optimistic it may seem to say this, undergoing this class for an extended amount of time may, eventually, lead to your body becoming able to sustain and become used to the work.
Cymatics, you say? /Flies to Youtube~/
Actually, I believe I have seen a few videos demonstrating cymatics ( and mature individuals playing in a pool of cornstarch and water :T ), but was unaware of the term at the time. XD
I believe you have a very valid point. In some cases, an individual may find a task to be immensely tedious. If they are success-driven and persistent, though, they will not mind persevering through the work.
Whit smells oddly of baby milk for some reason. :V
D: Oh my. I'm quite sorry; I hope things settle in place, although I'm certain things are going to be top-notch now.
Are you aware of what the building events consist of? Considering your capabilities, tackling the tasks may be a bit manageable than previously expected. ^_^ You just gotta believe~!

On a side note: REaCH presently has various clubs (e.g. Science Olympiad, B.O.M.B. (Christian club), Junior Civitan, a Japanese culture club... .-. ), and holds hour-long meetings on Fridays.

~:3 ...so apparantly there's this smart girl called Amelia Bellinger or something, I'd like to meet her and find out if my valedictorian position is being threatened.... might sound mean and arrogant, but my future literally depends on it :/.
o.O oh Whitney... she has such beautiful redundancy.
(which makes me want to play Kemps with you again... I still remember you commenting on the weather because you forgot out signal XD)
OK, so I haven't heard anything about Science Olympiad, so hopefully everyone forgot and it has died.... and Loren, I have seen the building tasks... which is why I REALLY don't want to do them. I might be successful in making it, but it's not worth the effort... it's just too much.
o.O B.O.M.B. is a christian club...? Is that on purpose? XD I'd join that club in a heartbeat.

Who knows~? It could be your doppelganger.
DUN DUN DUN DUN /DUN/.
I believe I misspoke; I saw a few people wading through a small, shallow pool of cornstarch and water. (It looked a bit like stomping through oatmeal) I seriously doubt it would be possible to swim through such a mixture - but it's interesting nonetheless!
...'Amelia Bellinger' you say? I am not certain why, but that name seems a bit familiar; do tell - is she a red-head by any chance?
Smart to the degree where she is widely acclaimed (and envied by other students) throughout the school? Oh my; I pray that all is alright. Do not have any qualms of your abilities, though, Angela; just strive to achieve your greatest potential. Do your best, strive to improve if needed, and things shall follow.
XD Whitni has exercised her redundancy quite a bit today. Example: She clicks on an interesting video she wishes to show Tyra and I - only to go to another one halfway through. Would you believe me if I told you I have had the strange desire to play Kemps for the last few days? :U Stop reading my mind! XD
I am sorry, Angela. D: I suppose there is no point in doing something that you find to be pointless.
Yes~ It is a Christian club - and the members of it are very outspoken about their faith. ^^ It makes me happy to see people who are not ashamed of their worship, but I for-see controversy...

I KNEW IT, not even halfway through the first year we aren't in the same school and you've already found a replacement me... I've yet to make any new friends at this school :/
Wading through that kind of mixture seems really hard even if it's small o_O
No idea at all what she looks like. Well, I feel like I'm doing the best that I can already, but the only class that I'm getting a perfect 100 in is math, but that's because there's a definite answer that requires no opinion or memorization of 9999 random facts. P.E. is bad for me for obvious reasons, art is based off of craftsmanship but right now we're working with paint and when your paintbrush is screwed up, it's hard to stay inside the lines, but after this, I'm sure I can do better... to be honest, the reason I didn't get a 100 was because I forgot a homework assignment and the halfhearted efforts that I drew in about 15 minutes earned me a 90. Science is just hard... period. I've yet to make a 100 on any test/quiz besides a few that i did with clickers, but even then the first 2 that i took weren't 100s. I haven't even taken the "Huge Nasty" (name for the test) that I missed because I was absent due to being sick, but apparently it's hard because it requires you to put the info together into a "most likely answer" situation.... meaning no matter how hard i study/memorize, I will now know the definite answer x.x and from the scores people have been getting so far, I'm pretty sure I'm not making a 100, far from it.
XD I've been realizing more and more how much energy little kids have, and it amazes me... it makes me wonder about when I was a kid. I take it that you are in the same house as Tyra often? You always seem to be around her when you type these. KEMPSSSSSS and I'm sorry, reading minds is just an instinctual thing.. I shall try...
It's not that I find science olympiad pointless, it's just that I KNOW we will fail since we have such large disadvantages, and it's just not worth getting your hopes up and spending countless hours working on something just for that. It was different with Mission Possible last year, because I somewhat sort of knew/hoped that I had a chance, and I kind of did, I was 1 place away from receiving a medal at a STATE competition.
Ahh, I love that people express their religion, but sometimes what I don't really like is people that brag about being a certain religion when they don't really know much about it or put it into some practice. I realize that I might talk about being catholic and loving it, but I do put it into practice. I don't gossip, I try not to be that annoying person that causes trouble, and I make an effort to make the right decisions. It just gets on my nerves to see someone talking about how religious they are then hear them talk about someone else the next second :/. OTHERWISE, GOOD FOR THEM
XD I realized. cleverrrr, I really miss your clever little jokes and just you in general :/ You're so unique, I could never find another you in a million years -.- Your random facts that only geniuses would know, your quirks, your perfectionism... XD good times~
