The writing... has all but stopped. Work and school have piled up into a massive amalgam worse than any writer's block i've ever experienced. I'm still working on ideas when I can, though that doesn't seem to be happening much at all.

Thanks man. I'll keep you in mind if I ever wanna do anything. I've been thinking about doing some pure art comics (short 5-10 page stuff with no dialog). If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'm sure I could find some time to collab on something like that.

Yea... The project is pretty much dead. Things came up and such. I've still got the script so I'm not giving up hope that one day it will be made. Let's hope I'm one of the winners of the Viper Comics writing contest. With that, i'll be able to score some freelance work and get my foot in the door. My pleasure, man. I REALLY like your style. It's so real, yet surreal at the same time, ya know? Makes you think that some of the wild things you draw could actually exist. Looking at your work, I have to ask: Are you at all influenced by comics? Something just strikes me in the way you pose and the lines of you works... Almost as if you're posing them for covers or panels. As you can see from my (meager) gallery, i'm heavily into comics. I would have a lot more stuff up... but it gives away too much information on stories that i'd really rather see printed with art. I'm currently working on getting a one-shot done, so be on the look out for that if you're interested.
Can't wait to see more work from you. I'm sure i'll be pleasantly surprised as to what you make next!

I'm pretty much influenced by all things nerdy, and yes that does include comics, and I know what you mean by not wanting to give away any plot things in your gallery. Luckily for me I haven't had as much time to work on any story stuff lately so I don't have to worry as much.

Our lartist is truly exceptional, i'm sure you'll agree. You're a pretty good craftsman yourself! How long did that LFG mobile take you?
If you're into comics at all, be sure to keep an eye out on my page. I should have some illustrated pages of my one-shot, The Nomad, up here in a month or so (just gotta get the damn script done!). If you like mystical things like the supernatural and religion, mixed in with a good western theme, I'm sure you'll dig it!
Btw.... how many times did you have to shake that Etch-a-Sketch before it came out right? Lol! I can just see myself going "*turn turn turn* Gah! No! *shake shake shake* *turn turn turn* WTH is wrong with me? *shake shake shake*" LOL. Truly i'm amazed anyone can make more than just lines and squiggles with that.

One of the reasons my Etch-a-Sketch stuff isn't overly accurate is because you only get one shot, and when half-finished, 'good enough' is enough to keep me from erasing it.

I was thinking something like clint eastwood. With the long dirty duster, and the dirty brown hat with a big floppy brim (sort of like alucard off of helsing if you've ever seen that, but with a dirty western feel). Stopdropandslaughter has brought up the point that in the song it says he's from the ancient east, so maybe make him something like an arab or something?
