Talking about crazy weather, I live near where Hurricane Harvey hit Houston. We got a crazy amount of rain and a little bit of flooding. 

Mein Deutsch ist nicht sehr gut. Ich bin eine Student. 

My fascination comes from having a lot of heritage and family from Germany. We have a lot of family that's from there and I was even born there (so technically I still have citizenship under jus solis) and I have a great admiration for the country's beauty and efficency.

Oh yeah I'm fine. I live about an hour or so from Houston and the worst we got was just a lot of rain and small flash flooding. Nothing serious. However my church has been sending volunteers on Saturdays and Sundays to help out and I went on one and it's just sad.

And yeah no place is picture perfect but compared to America, Germany has it's shit together

Yeah I herd Merkel won. I don't have enough knowledge of the whole political scene in America let alone Germany so I don't have a real opinion on it but I'm glad y'all can do it civilized
