I am facinated by that oak tree in several of your images. I have a similar Ponderosa Pine image, which shoot from as manym diferent angles as I can.

the oak is in my "front" yard so I get to see it often in all its different glory I've spent the vast majority of my life on the coast of southern California where we only have the Coastal Live Oak which keeps its leaves all year round so when we moved up to inland Northern California I was stunned to see them loose their leaves!! We have maybe four or five different kinds on the almost 8 acres where we are...we abutt a huge thousand acre cattle ranch so we have wonderful views

Sharon, Judging from many of your images, I am guessing you reside in the southwestern U.S. I love that country and there is no way you could let me down. Just keep those beautiful images coming!

Hi Digipics, Thank you for your reply. Yes, I live in the southwest. I live between Las cruces, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. Today it is 84 degrees and everything is in bloom everywhere I look. We had a terribe blizzard this winter and again, everywhere I look there is damage to the cacti. They could not bare the below zero temps. I have a picture in my gallery called Jack Frost Came, and stayed too long, that tells the whole story. I saw many yard men today cutting off the tops of palms trees in hope they will come back. Where do you live? Thank you again for the watch and looking forward hearing from you again. Sharon

Sharon, judging from some of your images I kinda figured that location, or close to it. My daughter lives in Dallas and they have received more bad weather than she use too. I'm sure it is hard on the flora, cacti included.Well I'm running late so goodbye for now.
