Usually Photoshop (CS3) but sometimes AutoStitch. They produce different results from time to time.

In your opinion which is better? I am looking at some method and will try to shoot a series to stitch the photos.

If you're shooting raw then you gotta go with PS since AutoStitch doesn't do raw. If you're shooting in jpeg then maybe its easier to do it on AutoStitch but if you get a crappy result then try it in PS. If I shot in jpeg I usually try AutoStitch first. There might be some other programs that do a better job though.

The problem is i dun have CS3 i only have CS2 and CS2 doesn't support the type of RAW file i have... So i am using Capture NX 2 which is more for photo editing and converting them to Jpeg. So i guess Auto stitch is the one for me but again if it turns out crappy i dun know what to do !!! HAHA

CS3 didn't support the raw files from the 40D until I installed an update. Maybe they have a similar update for CS2?

Dude actually its more of like a planned thing.. Know what u wanna shoot bring what u need and u get what u want.. Weather plays an important part... The time plays the most important part too.. Go 1 hour before Sun set or Sun rise if you want good photos.

A FujiFilm SR5700, it takes great pictures and all. I'm really tired of them coming out either too washed out at times or to dark. I've just never owned a dSLR camera and I am hesitant to purchase something that expensive. I don't consider myself a professional just a hobbiest that loves the outdoors and enjoys taking good photographs!

Thats a pretty decent camera dude!! Well u can start off with a entry level SLR which won't cost much but gives u decent quality!!! Photography is a hobby to me too!! U have a big country which means you have bigger opportunity for better shots!!! So u get me right?

Yup totally get what you are saying! I figure if I get a less expensive dSLR camera then I would not be happy with it down the road, say a couple of years. Then the phrase, "It's not the camera but the person behind the camera" pops into my head. I figure it is two things, a better camera and more experience under my belt! I like the SR5700, just a little slow and sometimes does not do what I want it to do!

Well its always the man behind the camera dude!! Take it step by step... Some of my shots were taken with a Entry level DSLR!! Something to inspire u. [link] Check 1 of my friend out.. He is using a Nikon D40x..
The Dynamic range on your camera is shorter than on a DSLR and quality wise will be kinda far from DSLR.. U can compose but sometimes its not about the man behind the camera but the Camera itself!!

Dynamic range as in the amount of colors, darker darks and lighter lights. So its far from a dSLR camera in a bad way right, I hope so because I think that is what you are saying!
