There must have been some magic
In those old mushrooms they found
Cause when they put them in their mouths
Their minds began to dance around

Love your artwork Do you know how much fractal design software's cost? I have a new interest in this type of art. Fractals look awesome

Glad you like it! Apophysis is free - sourceforge.net/projects/apophysis7x/ - and it kicks tail. DO find a tutorial for it (google is your friend), take a class in it, or the like - the learning curve is steepish.
UltraFractal, the software I use, is moderately expensive. You can learn all about it at ultrafractal.com .
There are many other programs out there that can be used too - but those are the 2 I've used by far the most.
One more hint - Take a look at the #aposhack chatroom and just let people know you're interested in learning about fractals. They're good folk, and are generally quite helpful.
Enjoy!

You stay up later than I, m'friend. *shrug* I can do >24 hrs straight, just enjoy doing so less and less as I age. then again, I tend to be up earlier and at odd hours - that danged muse just won't shut up, sometimes. (And othertimes, I wish she'd speak up more! *sigh* )

I couldn't do 24 hours if I wanted to. If my life depended on it, I'd have to just go as I always wished, in my sleep. :giggle;
I have to take a muscle relaxer and sleeping tablets to get any kind of sleep. Though I still "semi-wake up" a few times a night, it is at least 'sleep'. And, I like me some sleep. But, I do believe that a topic we covered thoroughly when we first started chatting.

Always wanted to like my grandpa, peaceful, in his sleep, not screaming and panicked like the rest of the people in his car.
Enjoy what you can, I say. Within appropriate limits - and sleep should well fit within those limits in normal situations!

I don't read latin: What do they mean? "Extirpate Obfuscation" and "Illigitimus non carborundum" - for easy reference.

"stop hiding behind fancy words"

I really don't have a "google reflex".
I have always been one to be guided by those who bring me the information, and the information that I am "inwardly encouraged/drawn" to seek out. i.e. Angellic Research, and the like. But, then again, I am of the firm belief, I am a soul that plays fingers with angels.

I really do, and with a smartphone it's getting honed to a finer point nowadays.
I have always been one to question information - how's this being spun, and why?
I am of the firm belief that I am a soul that plays fingers with angles.

If I had a smart phone, I might feel the same.
I question everything that has a ring of dishonesty. Probably why it takes so long to see the "truth" sometimes... I get muddled by the ideal, not everyone is fake.
Are you correcting my grammar? If so, thank you. I need all the freakin' help I can get, and will do my best to retain the 'edits'.

I was like this before I had a smartphone. LOL - I just got worse once I got one!
I question everything by reflex. Slows me down sometimes. In your terms, you might say I suspect everything has that ring of dishonesty. (Perhaps not everything does, but plenty does)
Nah, playing wordgames. Angels versus angles. The latter I can believe in, the former I am at best uncertain of.

Well, they are! Gritty and knobby and full of irregular holes, starts warm and crisp and can either chill and congeal or go all soggy. Often slathered with salacious slatherings. Ooh, ooh - and don't forget all the nice sharp salt crystals to nick and wear and then sting!
(Need I make it look kinkier?

Cool - keep with the convo, I'll keep you with reading materials!
What'd you think about the voudon stuff?
NYC pretzels are good, but ballpark pretzels are better. Auntie Anne's (a local chain of mall-fodder) pretzels are second-rate but still good. A good pretzel w/ salt on it and dipping mustard - yum. Dessert pretzels with cinnamon & brown sugar and honey to dip are also quite wonderful. IMO 'course. (Now my mouth is watering... lol!)
Of course they do. [link] for a start...

Voudon: Very informative. Some of it I had known, the list of god/esses and the like were very insightful.
Pretzel: Salt and mustard... my fav.... never had a desert pretzel, if we're not counting the little crunchy ones covered in chocolate.
Twisted: Cute... I like how you chose the maternity line. funny.

Topic request(s)? Or just eclectic?
Yeah, voudon has some interesting internal conflicts, built in from the get go. Some appear to be unique to their own belief structure.
Nah, those don't count - those are almost a waste of good chocolate in most cases, IMO. Warm chocolate dip with a cinnamon-sugar coated sweet pretzel, now - that's good stuff. (Messy, too... )
Of course. Is there any other kind?

Topics and Links: It's easier if you just continue to do what you do naturally.
Voudon & Religion: Those who need to believe in something will find something to believe in, even if they have to make one up.
Dessert Pretzel: For God's sake, shut up already.
T-shirt Link: All our conversations are pregnant with potential, so, I suppose, it is 'fitting'.

Anyone, for any reason, religion or not, that cannot see the scope of "living" in the name of their "morality"; i.e. Any person who has committed henious acts for a "reason" (and, I'll have you know, I equate this to humanity, animal, and Earth as a whole and as individuals), that produces mass disarray and individual harm, are the true "bad guys". But, there is something in the human animal that makes us more a virus than a part of the whole.
Google Earth is the majority use I find for the search engine.
Have you ever looked at the land for higher up?
Anyhow.... next topic.
Churros: OOOHHH, Yeah! 21 years in Texas, you'd think I'd have remembered that.
I should probably let you know, since this is a good example, I forget what I consider "useless information". Those things that can be easily reference, or, of which I view as good "people conversations", I don't hold on to. When I was young it used to annoy the crap out of me, because people are always quick to tease. Later, I found out that Einstein refused to tie his shoes, memorize his phone #, and a host of "little things", i felt much kinship. And, figured I was in good company.

While I agree in theory, I find that there are real positive reasons to be destructive in some situations. Can't build a building without making space and gathering materials, all of which are destructive. *shrug* It's a balancing act, I fear.

A point - a very good point. The thing is, we're too black-and-white (not racial, but polar) a society in many ways. In some ways this is a good thing -drives progress and science and such, it seems. But in others it really really does get in the way.
All facts are weird, just some moreso than others - IMO, at least.

Each day is built on the ashes of the past, fertilizing the possible futures. So - messy pasts can lead to wonderful futures. (Not always, but I'm feeling a lil optimistic ATM. Sue me. )
Facts are not interpretation, which is what studies are all about. A fact is true no matter how you interpret it. Light moves so fast in vaccuum, an electron has such-and-such a charge, etc. Those are facts. Immutable, basic. How you put these facts together *IS* subject to error and flaws.
Glad to hear you're havin' a good day! May it be the beginning of a long string of good ones.
The Tiger Lilies are deliberately morbid and the voice is extremely outside the normal. The lyrics are also outside the norm, intending to bring out the perverse and twisted. Note that creepy doesn't equal bad, to me!
