And yes I'm definitely up for it But instead of trade we talked about a collaboration. I think back then I had to explain what a collaboration is though... I think. Year is a long time. XD
The main point is that you draw your character, and I draw my character, and they are in the same picture :3 What we need is an idea what they are doing, and then one of us starts.

Hmm. I can almost see them riding some wild cloud creature they just caught, or something silly like that. Do you have any ideas? Btw my character's about to change a bit to fit into the comic I'm starting, but for convenience sake we can just use his current design if that's ok

Uuu I like that idea Should we make a deal that one of us draws the cloud creature and the other one does the background? That way we both have a character and a little extra to draw :3 Which one would you prefer to have? My strong side is making backgrounds, but I'm up for a cloud creature challenge as well.

And which ever makes things easier for you. I'm fine with you using either design ^^

Ohh cool, I hate doing backgrounds so that sounds like a good deal! Umm, want me to sketch my character and the creature, then send it to you? You can finish your character and the background, then I can use the background to figure out lighting and stuff for the creature. How does that sound?

Lita and Baqir? Honestly, I'm not sure. I've been trying to give that poor couple an ending since I was twelve and it's finally going to happen in this OCT. After that ... I don't know. Maybe? Probably? They have been two of my fave OCs

I know, right?! xD It's so hard to find other people who have read them! I'd like to say Baqir has a bit of Gen in him, but I'd say he's more like the Jackal from The Oracle prophecies.
(Hmm... now that I'm thinking about it, it seems I have a weakness for thieves )

I'd never heard of Harmony before, so I looked it up.  It looks like a lot of hard work if you're drawing every frame!  Have you tried Photoshop or Flash?  Flipbook is another one I've tried (just the trial version), and it's good for fast gesture animations, but I can't get the pressure to sync up with my tablet correctly so the strokes are too inconsistent to be used for much beyond that. And the software is slightly buggy. But, it's got really good hot-keys if you know how to use them right!  And, it's a lot cheaper than Flash if you're just trying to get the line-work done (you can color in Photoshop or Gimp).

I'm in the middle of making my own animation flip board so that I can animate away from my computer.  I'm making it so that I can just use normal copy paper that has been hole-punched.  I'm not sure it will work yet, but I've made the board out of clear plastic so I can draw with a light shining through the paper.  What is animation paper like?  I thought about investing in some, but you're right, it's waay too expensive

You can definitely get away with hole punched. Flipping takes some getting used to, I can give you paper assignments I got if you want? That might help, I dono!

We started with the bouncing ball! And I ah... almost failed it... lol

I thought you already knew that? Haha really though, there are so many cool places down there! You'll be crawling through a pitch black tunnel and then suddenly, there's this otherworldly cave carved out of the concrete with light shafts coming down through a grate or something, and it's soooo pretty!  And fun for photo shoots!

Really?!  Cool!  The one I explored most was back home in the deep south, and it empties out into this awesome swamp.  I would always find fish, turtles, tadpoles, and lots of animal tracks around it.  It really is a magical place, with lots of cinder blocks in some places completely covered in green moss, and lots of singing, happy birds.  The walls of the ditch block out the sounds of the city as well, so it feels like you're alone in the world, surrounded by old concrete walls that frame the stripe of sky perfectly.  What are the ditches of Prince Edward Island like?

Hahaha, better than the ditches I have in my city now. They were wild and magical. I played more in the woods near the brooks, too.

Haha I meant that I thought you already knew I was a weirdo  We have a ditch back home that is the best.  It has tons of graffiti and dark slimy water and loong tunnels underneath the parkway, with all kinds of cool constructions in them.  I haven't seen any really cool ditches in Edmond yet, but there's one on the OC campus that's pretty fun, and it's not even very dirty

One of my biggest regrets is not finding a way to sneak into the clock-tower. You must tell me how that goes!  One of the main ditch entrances that you can use is a smallish tunnel on the north side of U-House.  It's in the yard.  There are also some tunnel entrances on the other side of the road by U-House.  I'm sure there are more, but those are the only ones I felt like I could sneak into without being seen by the masses.

OOOOH during Freshman year I ALMOST got to go into the clocktower. The door was unlocked, but Josh said we shouldn't because he thought it was wrong. (I SHOULD HAVE DONE IT WHEN HE WASN'T LOOKING)
