i agree with your stamp on some level, however, gay is totally normal. Why can't people post stuff that has gay love? It's not wrong at all.

I agree with with your Not an invitation stamp. For example I put in Burp and most of the stuff i got was god dang GT.It gets annoying at the fact i saw one whole section on the search link dedicated to censured GTS pics.It was disturbing

You respect the democratic process but disrespect the idea of a website that allows forms of idealistic expression you, personally, don't enjoy?
How controlled does 'freedom' have to be until you like it?

Looking back, I can see how my comments could leave room for confusion and apparent hypocrisy. I'm not saying that I disrespect dA, or that they should make their submission policy less free. Most anything can be called art, so there's no sense it rejecting it unless it's downright illegal to host it.
What I am saying is that there are some works on here that I find tasteless and, in some cases, disturbing. I don't go out looking for them, but in spite of that, I still see them as I'm browsing dA. My browsing experience would be more enjoyable if that didn't happen, but since there isn't anything I can do about it, I made a passive-aggressive stamp about how I like artists that don't post that sort of thing here and went about my business.
I guess I could've done the whole "I'm laeving DA 4EVERRRR!1!!" thing, but since there really is a lot of nice stuff on here, and stamps complaining about artwork are common enough, I figured it wouldn't hurt to just vent a little, maybe ruffle a few feathers in the process.

Ah, all right, I see where you're coming from now.
When I read it, it sounded very much like you felt people shouldn't be able to upload art based on their interests (furry, fat people, whathaveyou). But if it's just badly-done art in any genre, then yes, I do tend to agree.
I saw a photograph (Probably snapped with a phone judging by quality) of a woman's vagina with a flower stuffed into it make the front page a few years back when the front page actually meant something on DA. When reported as pornography, nothing was done, the report was filed as invalid. It's been that way as long as I can remember.
All in all, bad art is forever a risk you run any time you browse the internet (Rule 34). It's everything anyone could want -- which is the problem as we don't all want the same thing. Your sensibilities will be insulted at least once daily as long as you enjoy the freedom to browse not just DA, but any art or forum web page. You just have to hope you develop clever methods of glazing over the bad stuff to get to what you're really looking for.

'not an invitation' this is so true, i cant even begin to express how much i want to send this to fellow 'not-pornagraphic-artist', as a photographer i can appreciate the art of a nude form and the true is you not truly a photographer unless you have explore the human body through a lense, however that dosnt mean said body needs to be in bondage....or god forbid bad kinky cosplays....in saying that i cant deny my inner yaoi fangirla and my love of all things leather and studded....i think it takes more skill to actualy 'draw' some sick scene than to dress up like a freak and photoshop!!! love your work, im going now (sorry for ranting)

I agree with your invitation stamp. I turned off my 'image block' hoping that I could find good pics of angels and it turns out I almost puked because I found more porn then anything. How is it artistic nudity when a woman is in bondage flaunting all her parts sexually, not artistically. UGH and furry porn, don't get me started. needless to say I turned on my 'block images'.

Not all of the slash artworks are bad (and, ohgodwhyI'msayingthis, some of the Kingdom Hearts fanarts are actually pretty good technically speaking). But I agree, even if we can post whatever we like, at least we should try and make it look GOOD ffs. Sides, there's the report button for a reason. I'd personally worry more about all the facebook demotivational posters that landed on front page some time ago. ._.

THANK YOU for making that 'Not an invitation' Stamp.
I can't explain how awful I find that, and how many times I've been hassled, bullied, socially-assainated, etc. (once fairly-massively, off of dA, though, technically), and how many people I've met who have just for NOT liking and NOT wanting to see that stuff.
And as for the thing they tell you about 'If you don't like it, don't look at it': you can't NOT look at it, because it's EV.ER.Y.WHERE., usually with no or nearly no warnings or filters.
Sorry to ramble, but again, THANKS. Definitely going in my collection.

No problem, I'd say that's the best stamp I've ever seen on the subject. They'll draw stuff that would sicken a hog.

I just gotta say, I came upon your "Not an Invitation" stamp in a friend's stamp collection and it now has top billing in my own collection. Thank you for having the courage, sense, and awesomeness to speak out against the flood of garbage on this site, and support the true artists who don't have sick minds.

I'm happy you like it! Like I said in the comments, it gets rather annoying seeing all sorts of weird crap when you're just trying to find some nice artwork. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.
