Hey Thanks, It has been a challenge, I need to brush up on photoshop skills to eliminate seam lines at neck and feet. I got frustrated so moved on. I am currently rigging face, but I am going with shape keys rather then bone heat. I noticed your facal rig. Have you tried shape keys for facial, which is better ? I imagine a combo of both would work best, but may not move to game engine as well.

Yea seam lines are a bitch! I have no idea how shape keys equate to what i use in 3DS Max, but the Rig I made is completely custom. I build it using script. I think what you are asking me is whether to use Bone deformation vs. Vertex deformation/Morph targets. It depends on what you are making your character for. Morph targets would be the easiest route but bone rigs give you way more control but take time to set up correctly. I am using a bone rig because I am making game characters. traditionally game engines do not support vertex deformation/morph targets. I am using (Unity 3D) which does not support vertex deformation so i had to develop that Rig you saw.

Correct Bone vrs morph. Self coded? Very slick. I have not gone to far into the game engine, but from my understanding blender will allow for morphs into game logic right at the gui level.

ItΒ΄s about where you are and what you did to get there, son.
2nd:
DonΒ΄t call yourself 3D artist, if you cannot model a mesh
3rd:
Art is creation. Not putting real artists things or templates together

Rang true with me. Poser/Daz though valid and allow begginers to get results quickly, are more akin to photography and scrap booking verus painting. They really should be in a different catagory then blender/zbrush/maya art. That and giving credit calling a lightly morphed V4 'my model' is weak at best and copy right infringment at worst.

I always encourage beginners to go on doing something, because, itΒ΄s always learning be doing. If thereΒ΄s a problem, thereΒ΄s the internet, thereΒ΄s DA, thereΒ΄s me... But do something on your own. If itΒ΄s not fitting the own expections, try again and again!
DonΒ΄t steal art or use templates, when you are not able to create it on your own and get some aspiration, instead.
