I understand. That's why I mentioned Solar Armor, because it provides the highest defense of any post-Moon Lord armor in addition to boosting melee damage. I could cheese that by using Vampire Knives and/or The Star Wrath in combination with a full set of Solar Armor.

Just beat Duke Fishron!

Of course, I did have to farm The Moon Lord until I got the SDMG, and Luminite to make a full set of Vortex Equipment. And Solar Wings. Can't forget those. I wonder how quickly I could win with Solar Flare Equipment and The Terrarian....

As I recall, I had a Dart Pistol and opened up the fight by firing a few ichor darts with it. I also had Solar Wings, A Celestial Stone, A Charm Of Myths, An Ankh Shield, and Frostspark Boots. I know I had an Endless Musket Pouch and an Endless Quiver and wanted to use The Phantasm and Holy Arrows, but The SDMG made that unnecessary. A Stardust Dragon backed me up, and I can't remember if I had a Lunar Portal do the same...

My Arena was set up as a small house with a Bewitching Table, a Heart Lamp and a Campfire. My Dominant Tactic was "SHOOT HIM UNTIL HE DIES!"
