Welcome!-> do you sketch out then digitally paint? or do you just jump straight to sketching on the comp? [new to...art XD-so trying to find out what different folks are up to]

Well it usually matters I guess. I generally have a reference pic and I do a real loose sketch from that and then go in and get the details and stuff and build up the drawing into what becomes the final piece. But of course some times I just start drawing and then before I know it I've just spent the whole time on the face or hair and forgot about everything else! Sometimes you just gotta go where it takes ya~
