goth i can understand, but emo, it's just a fad...

It's because I got sick of people who say you're an emo by how you look, or because you let others see you're unhappy.
And I'm a bit emo after all
So when people call me one, I take it as compliment.

since when are men seen as macho's? far from in my eyes... but sure if that's how your view is. you're entitled to it. i don't think emo's even to do with emotions or feelings, it's a cliché of the actions from a broken heart.
i just get fed up of the whole stereotype thing, especially goth to a certain extent, because you can dress as gothic as you like, but the mind... that's a whole other thing that the "goths" of today don't seem to get.
