But then again it's probably due that the market itself is different compare to other sites that categorize their items in different web links and such.

Hello Brian,
If it's not too much trouble, I would like to ask a question: What web design software, (it needs to be wysiwig, with "icon-led graphics" as I don't have the time to learn all the xhtml, java, flash etc etc- I used netscapes "composer" a while back for some sites that were for friends where my real input was all the buttons, banners and pix that I designed... ), would be appropriate for me as I wish to produce a website for my various interests including the book I'm currently writing on knots. It will initially be without e-commerce req's but that may change...:
Rough Profile of myself:
Fairly quick learner, reasonably intelligent, have the patience to learn (see my gallery.... ), motivated.
Current activities:
Knotter
Graphic designer
Card & Board Games designer
Current Projects:
Card game
Book on Knots
African style Mask & other knotting projects...
Website... after I have appropriate software (A plan of the site, vis-a-vis the menu structure/page/ hypertext links necessary that I want, etc, is done...)
btw: this could be the subject of a useful tutorial perhaps...? I do a reasonable number of tutorials myself... (see my profile/gallery/tutorials...)

Hello Pete,
First off thanks for asking your question! Unfortunately WYSIWG softwares is not my area of expertise, but I will try my best to provide an answer to your question.
Regarding to WYSIWG softwares I would say Adobe Dreamweaver could do the task according to the features been asked in your information. Aside from that if you want more information regarding to AD then you could check it out at [link] .
One of the reason or at least one of the problems that I see with WYSIWG softwares is that you're not able to get a good knowledge on what works and what doesn't especially when it comes to coding. Besides that I mainly design my layouts in softwares such as gimp, Adobe pohtoshops etc. Which is why I never choose WYSIWG or know a lot about WYSIWG softwares. Thus could be an interesting subject for future guides, but for now I will refrain from creating such topic until I know I can provide concrete evidence and information to the audience.
Thanks for asking your question and I hope I was able help.

Peter,
Don't worry it wasn't a waste of time, but rather browsing to different kinds of subject could expand my horizon of creativity.
Although one thing that I forgot to mention is that Flash is no longer been used in a lot of designs due that you now have the ability to create smooth animations with jquery/css 3 and it loads faster.
Regards, Enquilo.
