I can't remember who it is but some other deviant has this quote as their tag line "a mediocre writer is always at their best". It stuck with me and it's true.

That's is a nice quote and very well worded.
Whenever I try to think of a quote for sites that ask for one I can never word that quite right.
And I'm glad you actually talk back, a lot of people on here, at least in my experience, don't really talk back at all and I thought this site was for communication and such between artists. lol

I quoted myself and now I just look at it and feel pretentious and silly but then I can't think of anything else to put there or be bothered changing it.
I like communicating. I love seeing how other people interpret the world and I like knowing why people like or dislike my work, feedback helps me grow and develop. I may not be quick, but if warranted I'll always talk back

Yeah I feel silly whenever I read my own stuff but I always remind myself that I am too hard on myself and try to seperate the sillyness from the legitimate stuff.
And me too, since I am young and only really started writing over the past two years I have to grow a lot and find my own voice and feed back helps me a lot as well as each time I write. I also like seeing how people interpret my work and what meaning they see in it or what it means to them because while I write with certain ideas and themes in mind I want others to take their own meaning away from my work, I feel that's the point of it all.
