That was photoshop, drew the strands then applied a brush preset to them. I forget were I downloaded the brush preset, but I googled "photoshop cum brush" and found it eventually.

I don't. I'm self taught and my process is very messy. Do yourself a favor and just learn Blender instead, trust me.

I do video game characters, so Winx Club is a no go. I use DAZ Studio, XNA, and Photoshop.
