Hi. I hope you read this all the way through, because I have some things I want to say. It's Lauren, by the way. I put off saying that because I hoped that you would read the preceding sentence first and think this is important.

Okay, so I was going through stuff in my room a couple weeks ago and I stumbled upon a box full of floppy disks, some of which contained our old role-plays. They (obviously) reminded me of you, and that's what got me to your DeviantArt site in the first place. I know it's been a while, and I'm hoping that you'll finally accept my apologies for what a bitch I was to you all those (two?) years ago. I honestly don't know what made me think it would be okay to act like that and looking back on it I regret it more than anything.

As I said, it’s been a couple weeks. I’ve had to decide whether or not to contact you and what to say if I did. I was…am kinda scared. I know I fucked up pretty bad and I don’t know what gave me the right to do anything I did. I’d like to say I’ve matured since then. I guess I have. I’m going to be 18 soon and I’ll be going to college so I think it’s a requirement. I can’t have gotten any worse. I looked through the comments I left you and they were fucked up, and I’m really sorry. Like, really sorry. I don’t know how to put it into words but I really wanted to try.

Part of my dilemma in sending you this was that I didn’t want to make anything worse, but, again, I don’t know how much worse I could have gotten. Now, if you’ll be patient, the next thing I wanna say may not work out. Don’t get offended by it, though, I’m just a terrible writer.

Okay. Here goes. I can’t say I’ve missed you, but that’s just because I haven’t really thought about you since then. Which isn’t meant to be a bad thing, but when I tried to talk to you whenever ago and it didn’t work I meant for that to be it, for everything to be done. But when I found the RPs I remembered how much fun they were. I got really desperate and started doing one in my journal at school. Pathetic, I know, but I was bored. I don’t think it even counts if I’m doing it by myself. I don’t know how many times I can say it. I’m so sorry for ruining everything. I never meant for it to turn out that way. I hope this does more good than harm because I really mean it. I was stupid and lame and mean and wrong and all those other adjectives that I just can’t think of right now. I’m really, really sorry, Sam.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving, and I hope you have a good Christmas, birthday, and New Year. And all those other holidays.
