I've always been a sucker for photography, and your floral shots are breath taking. That, and there might be a little camera envy involved...lol But yes, you have a lot of unique shots and angles and I love the high saturated colors!
In short, I'd probably favorite them all if I could.

WOW, another superb feedback, i too am a student of photography, i hope to learn more skills...and believe it or not, i think about how to better myself all the time. i love flowers and i am happiest when i am in a garden, alone or with friends, never had a bad experience yet...all the flowers are all giving, believe you me, all you have to aim your camera at the flowers, they will do all the work for you, at least 90% of the work

I find I enjoy taking pictures of waterscapes the best, or at least that seems to be what all of my folders are proliferating with at the moment. I have quite a few I have yet to upload from this last summer, but can't be bothered to get them ready to post. Lazy, lazy artist I am.
Like you, I find myself at my happiest whenever I manage to go hiking along the shores of Lake Superior. And if I ever get around to it, I have a few beautiful shots from Mackinaw Island.

I've been a fan of Der-shing's work for awhile now, and when she said her mother did photography, I thought I'd mosey on over and see. As I said before, beautiful work! Where I'm from, we don't get a large variety of flora around here, what with everything being covered in snow 6 months out of the year. And with it being the dead of winter, getting the chance to see the colors in your photography was the breath of fresh air I desperately needed.
Look forward to seeing more!

Thank you so much, i am glad i was bitter enough for her to mention my name, if not, you would have never mosey by as you put it.
I love gardening like i love nothing else on earth (well, my children are number one of course), Der-shing lives amongst the beautiful flowers you see from my gallery and she also likes to help me out when i am in the garden, a great way to spend time together...with some homemade smoothies in the summertime, a must.
do come back and enjoy the flowers, they, no matter what, can brighten up your day...have a wonderful weekend!

You are very welcome! And don't worry about awards and what not. I do my art for me, and if somebody else feels like being awesome and awarding me something for my efforts, then kudos to them. Like I said, you're art made my day, and to me, that's 10x better than an award.
And if it ever stops snowing, maybe I can try my hand at some snow sculptures for giggles.

That's such a shame. But I do understand. During my bachelor I think I had a period of almost two years where I just wasn't creatively active at all. Studying drains.

Yeah, it's hard switching back and forth from a technical mind to a creative mind and then back again. I have about half a dozen unfinished pieces lying around here at the moment. LOL Yay for year 7 of school?
