Nice to see that you can use a compact camera and show people that it doesnt take a proffessional DSLR to take a good photo! I too had a Canon Powershot A540 series camera :) (Smile) Great going!!!

I have the same camera as you and I found that taking a good macro photo was to use a great amount of lighting to make them appear crystal clear! :) (Smile)

cool :D (Big Grin) i'm trying to get a picture in low light of a water droplet on a petal. and then the christmas tree lights behind it. and ideas how to get it clear? it isn't focusing properly

Have you tried taking it manualy on macro? Also you can try adjusting the lighting and exposure on a photoshop to make them clear. :) (Smile)
