It is a hardcore, challenging Rouge-lite platformer with RPG elements with unique, random-generated levels and several endings and secrets. It is difficult, but satisfying as all heck.

Though Monster Hunter XX is only in Japan, I can still play it. There is a guide for importing the game with stuff of how to understand stuff in Japanese. Redstache made a very good guide so check it out on YouTube.
