I've been okay, could be better and could be worse, just as everyone else. Started highschool and have my permit as well, so I know how to drive, which has been a nice experience. What about you, hows life been treating you?

I started University this year which is very weird and why I have not as much time to go online anymore. Other than that I have started volunteer work which is also strange. I am feeling a lot happier this year though which is a good thing.

Ah, exciting! That's a big step though so I wish you the best of luck with your studies.
Volunteering is such a generous thing to do though, that's very kind of you. Might I ask what you're volunteering for?
I'm glad to hear that mood wise you're doing a lot better, maybe the change to a University is what you really needed? I'm glad life has been treating you well, going through up's and down's sucks but it's part of being human, eh?
Highschool has been a rather anticlamatic experience, honestly. What I heard was that it was:
A. Going to be the best time of my life
B. Will be insanely hard
C. People mature a lot

What I've experienced:
A. Highschool sucks just as much as elementary and middleschool
B. It's almost EASIER than elementary and middleschool
C. People are gigantic douchebags

Thank you! I volunteer for St John which is a first aid place. I go to all these sport events and other events and help out when people get injured. It's a little stressful but I enjoy it. I think going to uni has helped but the type of people around there are different to how it was at school.
Highschool is the same as every other year of school to be honest. It isn't all that difficult either until around the final year. University is when it begins to get better. 
I think regardless of where you go people will always be douchebags unfortunately...

No problem! Yeah, I know what St John is! That's such an amazing opportunity, especially since you're doing it for free. I'm sure you're doing great at it. I'd love to do something n the medical field but I have an incredibly weak stomach, so it's just not for me, you know? I pass out and nearly have a panic attack when I get my blood drawn. 

Highschool isn't that much of a difference at all, I'm just kind of like "Okay, whatevs."
But at least people will be slightly more mature, I'm hoping? I just desire to find someone who I genuinely click with, preferably a guy. Guy friends are amazing, I love having them. If you find a really good one that you can connect with, it's fantastic, and who knows- It could grow from friendship into something else as we got older too.

Sometimes dealing with injuries can be stressful. Worse ones are broken bones because the person usually cries and I don't cope well with crying people. Blood is easier as long as there isn't a lot of it as the way to fix it is relatively simple.  
Boys in high school are not mature. Either that or the ones that went to my school missed the memo. They have a tendency to be really childish. You might be lucky, and I hope you are lucky, and find a really nice guy. Clicking with someone is brilliant. Unfortunately I have no luck in making friends with guys. I think they are put off by the fact I know so much about sport.

I've always been good with tending to and comforting those who are upset, but if an injury was involved it'd be tricky for me to calm another down AS WELL as myself. At least God's given you the gift of handling those types of situations, it takes a special skill set.
I couldn't agree more, everyone is so infatuated with dating for some reason yet all they do in the relationship is smack eachothers ass for a month then cry when they break up? Seems like a waste of time to me.
Why thank you, same to you! You deserve it. Although that may take a while for me, I'm quite emotionally detached from people.

I had two of my friends break up this year and it just seems like a lot of effort for something that ends up with sadness and anger. 
Are you an introverted person? I sort of know what that's like but I also tend to push people away if I get bad vibes from them. 

I like to watch sports but I'm not very good at them. Cricket and Formula 1 are my favourites but I also like AFL and soccer. Apart from sports I read and watch movies or TV shows. Do you like sports or are you more reading and movies?

I agree! One second they're 'madly in love' but by the time that they've broken up they apparently 'never like one another in the first place'???
There's a couple at my school (was, anyways), and their names are Avery and Michael. Dated for two years, SUPER close, always together, blah blah. On their 2 year anniversary he gave her this adorable ass card with the movie ticket from their first date taped in it and he'd written all this cheesy stuff like "I love you for forever, blah blah, this is from our first date and hopefully all the ones to come, I love you so much, blah blah, so glad we're dating, blah blah, hope it never ends."
I guess something happened over the summer cause this year I see him at least twice a day in the hallway practically having sex with this other girl; they're just that openly affectionate and kissy-kissy with one another. I'm still curious about what happened with him and Avery.

And God yes, DEFINITELY an introvert here. I'm very independent and antisocial, very much a "to myself" type of person, leery of others, not trusting, prefer being in solitary and doing big social events in small doses etc..

Ah, that's great that you're educated on those things, they're all popular so it fits! I really enjoy watching football and basketball but I almost never do and am oblivious to major sport celebs or teams. I'm definitely more of a reading/movies/computer/video game type of person; not all that into physical activity sadly, haha!

I've seen a couple of basketball games but they aren't very big in Australia. It's fun to go watch though.
What movies/tv shows/video games do you like? I am quite partial to Marvel movies and superhero movies in general; but Inglourious Basterds is my favourite movie by far. For TV show there is an Australian show called 'the code' that I absolutely love.

Ah, yes! Most definitely Marvel; I'm a massive Marvel fan. I'm in the random as a matter of a fact. The Avengers is the best. I'm an insane Loki fan, he's the bae. <3

Tony Stark is the best! My favourite member of the Avengers is Hawkeye. I really hope that he gets more screen time in the next Avengers movie. I also really liked Falcon from the last Captain America movie as well. But yea, Marvel is amazing.
To be honest though, I still love Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. I think they are my favourite superhero movies!

Ahhh, I must agree! He always makes me laugh due to the things said about him on Tumblr. Plus, people seem to just put him off as a lame character, when in reality he's like the male version of Black Widow, AND he's a complete expert with a bow and arrow. The king of the king of the archery!
Yeah, he was great as well, must agree. I love how him and Captain America met at the beginning of Winter Soldier, made me laugh.
I believe I saw the newest batman but I don't remember too much about it. The Dark Knights Rises; something like that?

I sort of ship Hawkeye and Black Widow. Not sure why but I sort of get the vibe of something between them in the Avengers; and she wore the arrow necklace in Captain America!
Yep, The Dark Knight Rises. It was an impressive film. Long film though. Not much of that series on Tumblr strangely enough. Which is a little disappointing. But I guess the tone of the films don't lend themselves to Tumblr much due to the distinct lack of humour. Or I just follow the wrong people.

I've heard those rumours. From the trailers I was thinking it was more of a friendship thing? But I honestly am not sure, I just can't wait to see the movie in March (I think it comes out in March).
You're not wrong about Tumblr people. I mean, their heart is in the right place but there are better ways of going about what they want to achieve. Verbally attacking someone online isn't really going to change things unfortunately.

Tumblr said it was a romance and I guessed that from the trailers but I'm not sure! I guess time will tell. I don't ship it though, I honestly can't see it happening.
And as someone who is conservative, I disagree with mostly all the opinions on Tumblr. I don't really fit in with that crowd, honestly. I don't like their personalities, either. They're just so heartless. The biggest group of hypocrites I've ever seen. They sit around whining and complaining all day about other people when they're part of the "other people" problem.

You're right about the hypocrites thing. Personally I agree with some of what they are saying; I just feel like the way they are going about it is wrong. I don't know, I don't see a lot of it as I mainly follow a group of Europeans that blog about Soccer and Formula 1. As a University student though I can agree with the fact that the cost of higher education is ridiculous. It is incredibly expensive for something that is basically a higher quality and more selective high school.
I also feel like I can't comment on a lot of things as an Australian because a lot of what is on Tumblr is American centric and doesn't really happen in Australia? So that makes me feel like it would be inappropriate for me to comment.

I understand that perfectly and often wonder if that is a problem with myself? Like maybe I'm just not interesting to people? Though I've also thought that it is because I've never been very good at small talk. Or that I find it more difficult to talk to people when I can't gauge what they are actually saying over the internet. I think I find it easier to communicate when I can see peoples expressions and body language. Online there really isn't that gauge.

Really?! Wow, you're one of the best people I know at small talk! It seems so anyway. You've always been very engaging and easy to talk to, always have something to say (and I mean that as a compliment). You're intellectually engaging
But yes, in real life communication is definitely more convenient for getting a feel on how the other person is taking what you say. But I also think it adds physical factors in that otherwise wouldn't be there? Online, you get to know someone for their personality. In real life, physical things are included, so it can warp your perception. If you're shallow, that is.

Uni has been, difficult. I am not enjoying it as much as I did last year and am falling back into some old habits from school unfortunately. 
Other than that I have been okay.

Putting assignments off till the last minute, not sleeping well, not listening properly in lectures; those sort of habits. Not good one to be in. Though I have switched to History and English at Uni now so I might enjoy it more than journalism. I hope.
I love summer. Australian summers can get up to 40-50 degrees Celcius but I love the heat. Not a fan of the cold at all. Have to wear socks all the time. 
How does the American school system work? In Australia it is Reception, year 1, year 2 (ect) all the way up to year 12 (with 10, 11 and 12 being high school). Then optional Uni after
