Well, I did go canoeing with the Discovery Club on Thursday. That was really fun.

Oh! Have you seen my two recent photos? I found a baby turtle at Finley's Landing today. He's the most adorable thing ever. He's only as big as a golf ball. I took him home since some workers were driving around on the beach and loading sand onto barges, and I was afraid he'd get hurt in the process.

He doesn't bite or anything. When you come back from Lala Land, I'm going to make you come to my house to see him.

You're not grossed out by little turtles like you are frogs, right?

Yeah, I always have to warm up to situations like that, and even then I'm pretty quiet.

Actually, the thing that I noticed the most was how much they cuss when not in school. That's what surprised me. I mean, it doesn't bother me, but it was a tad odd.

I made one with hearts last night, but it came out looking pretty bad.

When you come over, I can show you how I make them. I use tape to keep everything in place. Maybe that would help.

And just for the record, nothing you make ever looks like a sixth grader did it.

Oh, I don't know if you should trust me driving you around just yet. My mom took me drving out on the road for the first time on Asbury's country roads. Y'know, the very curvy ones where no one obeys the speed limits? It was scary at first, but very fun!

I wouldn't mind if you bummed rides from me once I get my license. Emma was getting irritated about us getting rides from her, too.
