Hi! Wow, Thanks it means a lot.

In 2008 I installed GIMP and played with that program for over two years while making posters for some fanfiction writers. Then, in 2010, I started using Photoshop and since GIMP had similar controls, it was easy for me to get used to everything. (: So I guess it's been more than 4 years? Haha that amount of time seems really unfair since I'm not that great.

Oh, we have the same time range!
I started out Ps around late 2007. And then, I started to use DA somewhere around 2008. But I had abandoned DA until I use it again from early this year. I waste my 3 years without learning much things on Ps, until I arrived at a fan fiction website called Asianfanfics.com last year.
So, I improved a lot ever since I joined AFF because I met lots of gfx designers there. I also learnt a lot from my friend which I met here on the year 2008.

I'm not that good too, but I envy you.
You make posters too?
I knew I had that feeling that you can make posters as well.

Haha that's awesome! haha I've made a DA a while back but I deleted my account because I felt intimidated by everyone on here.

I actually learned a lot of my stuff from looking at the works of other designers and watching tutorials and what not. &I DO make posters! However I haven't fulfilled a request in a while. OOOH, and I haven't made an Asianfanfics account until just recently because I work on a graphic request site (ver-sah-tyle) and I needed to know how a background would look on AF. (:

I used to go on this site called Winglin, but then I made a switch to the Soompi forums and most of my work can be found lingering around there.

You work on ver-sah-tyle? I know BabyCopGurl, she had worked with me in Starlight Reality's Designs last year. SRD is in AFF and I was hoping that you can just join AFF. It's quite interactive and there are a few great designers there.

I never try Winglin and I'm a member in Soompi, but I'm not active in there. I'm much more active in AFF, but right now I'm not on AFF any more. There were a few reasons why I leaved AFF. One of the reason is because of my busy life.

I'm fairly new to the staff ^^ I used to work in a couple graphic sites but I refuse to give my old screen name since my work was horrendous. I'm willing to join SRD, I just need to know what your rules for your designers and get a grip on AFFs system. I was thinking about checking out the site anyways. (:

I like using Soompi because they provide a lot of resources for me to use. Plus the people there are very supportive when it comes to designers or writers. They don't really have annoying anti-fan "hate" for certain idols or whatever ._. Winglin used to have a lot of that so I haven't gone on that site in over 2-3 years xD I've been on and off with designing due to my personal life too xD

Actually, SRD is already over last year. This early year, I revamped it and changed the shop into Sumptuous Eternity. And, the shop got successful until today. But now, I'm not on AFF any more, so I leave SE to my old friend from DA. Her name is Xiera and we used to chat with each other often in DA. ^^

She is now handling my shop, but she turned SE into something new. Which is happening at this moment. She will re-open the new SE in a few days. If I'm not mistaken the shop name has changed to illuminati

And the favor is that I want you to help her, by becoming a staff in illuminati. She seeking for some good ones. I'm pretty sure that your works will catch her attention.
