Uhhm they aren't really for anything. It was introduced on April Fools Day and dA decided to keep it. Some people like collecting them I guess. You can "level" up your llama by getting more. ( I actually give them to people so I don't thank them twice for favorites. Once you give someone a llama, you can't give them another one. Once I see I've given someone a llama already when I'm thanking for favorites and watches, I don't have to say thanks xD 'cause I already have. I-If that makes sense sorry ! confusing much ack )
