Goddamn it! How the hell do these people get so good at colourising characters using photoshop and such...im using photoplus which is more or less photoshop on the cheap, tried a tutorial, im only half way through and its sucks!! AGHHH!!!

It's called practice like crazy, try not to get discouraged, always know where your light source is, don't hold your mouse too tight, and don't use the effing dodge and burn tools to shade (until, of course, you get very good and know when to use them. Until then, avoid them like the plague. Oh, and no lens flares, unless it's a space 3D render or something).
