Nothing new with me. Excepting getting prepared for school (Everyone around where I live got an extra day off because of hurricane Irene) and testing out this brand new way to make eyes that I discovered are easier to make expressions with. It comes from the new comic read read called "Miki Falls"
By Mark Crilley. Of course I'm not copying him, I just would like to use his eye making in my own style XD

Hehe, not going to lie, I copy TOO MUCH, a lot of drawing is easier when you just copy and image, but as long as you draw it, it's your work.

My new sketches are been a bit more adventurous with detail and stuff, but I don't think I'm ready to move forward to moving character arms or different expressions! I need a good image.

Sounds like you're improving I'm glad.

Also I thought Hurricane Irene was New York, where are you from again?

Well, Hurricane Irene did hit New York, but it also hit Pennsylvania, Deleware (especially there) and some other states near there.

Ah right, well I hope it didn't affect Pennsylvania too badly, for anybody you know there and yourself, too!

Haha, would hardly say daring! But hey ho, a lot of the time they go unfinished and I come back to them later, I have a lot of sketches in my room at University that are half done! At some point, I'll take it up properly again, but need the motivation to come back!

Pennsylvania didn't get hit too hard, it was after Irene that really harder thank the hurricane itself. And yes we did miss a day of school because Irene cut off all the power in the district to all the school and a lot of homes. Only one out of them all still had electricity.

Well, you know. Half done sketches only makes room for bigger and more amazing pictures waiting to be drawn from your imagination. Don't think of them as half done, just think of them as thumbnails for a bigger picture. I'm sure if you go back on one of your sketches I'm sure you'll do wonderful or do a new one.

LOL Lord knows I have dozens of pictures I was too lazy to finish myself, and other pictures that I didn't update to this account because I thought they were really bad.

So how is your university life doing...did you get summer vacation up there too XD

Yeah at University we don't get many holidays but we do get the summer off! A lot more than most students really, I think I finished University in May? And then had exams May/July. Which is a lot earlier finish than most other schools and colleges here, but we also don't get many breaks, just Christmas, Easter and Summer.

Haven't really been up to much though! Came home for the summer and there isn't much to do in my hometown! So I just kind of sit about unless my parents have a job for me.

How about you? How was your summer vacation? (Obviously minus Irene)

It was okay, not much happened either. Like your hometown, my hometown is extremely quiet too. No one really comes outside, especially in the winter.

Basically all I did was go to open gym to help at my school to get prepared for volleyball tryouts, go to the beach a couple of times, and help coach a volleyball camp.

Either than that, I've mostly just sat at home reading, drawing, and writing.

And COACHING Volleyball camp, geez you must be pretty good!

My summer was quite like I mentioned, odd bits of excitement, did a few days hiking in Scotland, also had to tour some new American students around campus! That was fun!

I think they thought I had a funny accent...one of the girls laughed every time I spoke!

It's sounds way easier than the American way.

Basically if you go to colleage in Anerica, you have two years to decide what you want to do in life, if you haven't figured it out yet, and then take courses that involve you occupation you want to do. Not to mention you also have to take the require courses, such as english, math, science, and social studies, too

No not really.

Volleyball season is basically over and know I'm going to start going to open gyms for volleyball club.

First semester of school is coming to an end too and I think I got all straight A's (I'm not sure yet because of horrid spanish )

And making my comic of course XD

Haha, well it's not the proper Army training, but it's kind of an Officer Cadets type thing, so not full on hard, but hard enough to test us all!
