Recently I reread Future Talk for the second time since you finished it, and probably read it 2-3 times while you were updated it. I read almost all your YYH fanfics. The only other one I remember reading was a YYHxTNG fic.Β
That's when I noticed that you were taking a hiatus, and it made me sad. You are really the only bit of interaction with the YYH fandom, and while I understand that amatuer authors will almost always catch flak and praise in our digital age, I CANNOT understand the vitriol you have gotten, especially given some of the DREK I've seen over on FiMfiction.net.
Dani has become one of my favorite characters. I empathize with her so much. Her struggles with not wanting help, but forced to accept it.Β I have genetically inherited dystonia, that affects my left arm, leg, and torso. I was miserable enough that I wouldn't be here if I hadn't had brain surgery a few years back.
Dani is a unicorn:a well written disabled individual, and we need more of them in media.
I don't know what kind of place you are in right now, or if you will take this note with grace, gratitude, or indifference, but I eventually came to the conclusion I needed to write it. To tell you that I DO love your writing. (Also House, we always need more Gregory House!)

A friend tells me after a night of wine and Netflix that I pulled out my laptop randomly. After being asked what I was doing, I replied, "Hiei's mad at me for not drawing him anymore. I'll show that smart-ass."
