Finally enough time to check in. Thanks for being patient.

Busy last 2 weeks. Week before last was spent at a corporate technical and maintenance conference in Biloxi, MS. Not a gamler, I spent $1.27 all week at the Beau Rivage casino for fingernail clippers to fix a hangnail.

Flying was terrible. One hour delay in Cincinnati. Five hour delay in Atlanta...3 different terminals. Return was not much better with 20-min delay out of Gulfport and 45-min at 3 gates in Atlanta. Spare me. But, hey, we got $7 meal tickets from Delta for the outbound inconvenience.

Drank enough, but not too much. Easy to overindulge when WHQ is picking up the tabs. Food was very good, but they served too much for a light eater like me.

Made a few new and renewed other acquaintances and friendships normally conducted via phone doing tech support and database admin. That's the real value of these meetings. The meetings are the tax-friendly excuse for the face time with peers and division business leaders.

Last week was a visit to corporate S&T facility. Skipped scheduled meetings and did lunch and walkabouts with old friends

Way behind at work, especially with first of month on us. Ah well, I'll eventually catch up...the work is going nowhere.
