That means alot from a pro like you. Still saving some money to buy me a wide angle lens and some filters. Will let you know if I get some new shots!

Please do! And don't worry if you don't have some gear you want...it takes patience, but you can achieve great results with what you have. No amount of gear will make you a better photographer

That's true but it does make your life easier and gives you more creative freedom than a standard kit lens. Oh well still got lots to learn. Will be having a photoshoot with a white Merc CLS in about a week and I'm really really worried with that white. It's so hard to get the right exposure. Got any tips for shooting white cars?

I maintain, lenses don't make much of a difference....there are always exceptions, but for the majority of automotive stuff you don't need the anything incredible. I shoot 99% of my automotive material with zoom lenses, terrible quality compared to primes...but its good enough! And I shot some of my best photos on a middle of the road camera body for sure. As for white cars...try to avoid hard, direct light and don't shoot against a dark background unless you have a complex lighting solution. Otherwise you will deal with a lot of contrast once you get to the computer, and a lot of highlight/shadow info will be blown out. Try to find a location with a light color complementary to the car so the camera can meter the scene evenly. I've often wished to shoot a white car against a white background

Thanks alot for your comments! I render and model nearly everything with C4D. Sometimes i use Max or Maya for diffrent tasks but my main app is C4D also for moddeling.
