I am sorry for my long absence to anyone who had been following my page. Over the last year I wrote and produced a fanmade WW2 era Batman Film Noir. The final cut has just been edited and will be uploaded on youtube soon under my account iamrobot1c
The film is called Gotham City Knights, I will be posting artwork from the production also in the next couple days. Some artwork is mine, some are made by Jesus Rodriguez and photos taken by Marissa Dykstra.

Nope, still here.... I get to play a cop in the TV show Grimm today!!!!! Yes!!!!
No lines or anything but still, I get to say I played a cop on TV. I also got to play a Bartender and College student on Leverage and a Bank Manager on Final Witness this past Summer!!!

Wow, 3rd year that's awesome!!! I'm jealous, I went to a community college for a semester 6 years ago and got scared and dropped out. I always regretted that. It's never to late to go back though.
I'm good, I try to get in some artwork whenever I have a spare chance. Over the last nine months I had been working on a film and it has just been completed. Its a full length Batman fan film. I hope you check it out if you get a chance, it's called Gotham City Knights. act 1 parts 1 and 2 are being uploaded to youtube tonight.

I took an advanced Physics class with my friend, I actually have no idea how I got in it because I didn't take the initial physics class. Every time I was sure I understood the material I took a test and got a D. It was very depressing cus I never thought of myself as a dumb person and I couldn't understand how I could comprehend what the teacher was saying but not be able to apply it in any of my work. So instead of seeking help I took the easy way out and quit, always regretted that. Alas, there is still time...
Anyway, I will provide a youtube link to Act 1 part 1 and from there you should be able to find the remaining parts. There are 3 Acts and 2 parts to each Act. Instead of describing the film myself I am going to paste a review one of my ex coworkers wrote about it on their Facebook.
"So my friend James filmed a fan-made Batman movie. Well, it's more of a "What if the story of Batman was an ensemble cast trilogy set in 1940s in Black and White but in the style of a 1980s slasher flick?" It's really very good, James is quite talented. Oh, and I have a small roll as Hugo Strange. Check it out, but only after the kids are in bed."

Argh I didn't answer the what I did on the film part either. I had been making short films for about a year and my friend asked me if I could make him a Batman film noir set in the past, I was like sure when we have time and money and he was like no I mean this summer. So we did some test shots before I said no, and they turned out pretty well.
I wrote it but allowed the actors to have some say about the directions of their characters and performances, I casted the actors, set up the shooting dates, did the make up, we had a few camera men, I helped with that, I co directed, played Dick Grayson and I edited the entire film. So I was a busy bee this past year. The music was provided by a royalty free site incompetech.com and WW2 clips were from Royalty free sites as well.
