u-uh... tre? hahaha, my friends and I find him hilarious... he's always got this... weird look on his face. actually, he just HAS a weird face. (but in the music video for 'holiday' he acts quite funny. he drums in the back of a moving convertible, and then has some drinks in a club and throws up a lot. laughs. he is probably my favorite dummer, tho. he has MAD skills.) but, um, i'll try. i drew billie joe last night. it came out ok, but i want to get more practice before i present a final composition.

o, man! count the hours til your deadline, ruby! lessee here... i still gotta figure out the planning for the drawing... gotta draw it, and then scan it... then i gotta spend about an hour or more coloring it... all in... 8 and a half hours. now. you havent gotten ANY sleep in the past 2 days. can you soldier it out? can you finish this deadline? or will you break a promise to yourself like usual? im hoping i'll finish.

apparently, and for no discernable reason, i am now a deviant art subscriber. i dunno why, but that would explain why everything changed suddenly. but it's all pretty useless stuff for now. the only real reason to subscribe would be to use the search tool, but it's out of service for a while. not only that, but i hear that it will soon become a public tool once more. (o noes don't read if you're a fotogrofer! : i think it'd all be better if people didnt just take random stupid pictures and post them on dev. art. this seems to be my key reason for believing that not everyone can use search: there's just too much stuff and not enough memory for the dev. art page to allow just anyone at any time to search for whatever. so they had to disable the device and restore all the information in a better way. then maybe we nonmembers will get to search for free (that's a nice dream) but yea, i blame (in my ignorance) the people who take ten different pictures of the same cloud formation and post it on the same day and in their pre-pubescent wastings of time and space, try to dictate why it is such an important philosophical or artistic creation. they just have no understanding of the idea that all they did was look up and press a shutter in fidgety excitement at the thought of being a great artist. now, let me make something perfectly clear: i have NO PROBLEM with people who take pictures of important events places or people in their lives and post them here for their friends and for complete strangers alike to see and experience. this is a way of spreading EXPERIENCE. it lets people know what's going ON in the world. this is not what im complaining about. thank you.) ... o my, what a rant THAT turned into... haha ... ^^

i have never done a comic strip before. character creation, names, (talent -_-), ability to stay focused and dedicated enough to actually work on it --- these are all things that i am lacking at. BUT! the birthday of the best comic artist in the WHOLE WORLD is rolling around, and this somehow inspired me to sit down, write and illustrate a three page comic (starring myself- but as a drawn avatar character) that is a tutorial on birthday cards. im the one who created it, and i have no idea if it is clever/quality/funny in any way. i might post it here to the teeming masses... BUT ONLY IF SOMEONE SPECIFICALLY ASKS ME TO! that's right! unless one of you posts something about wanting to see the comic, you will never know if it was any good or not! (was that supposed to be incentive? god i suck -_-)

Long silence. havent had time to draw, been stressing over college acceptance crap. it's really a long drawn-out process to get everything organized and set up. i WANT to draw, but i dont have time right now. hope you understand.

Some may think that i hate my braces cuz i'm denied the pleasure of eating whatever i want. others may postulate that, at 18 years of age and just entering college, i may feel at a social disadvantage. though these are excellent points to consider, i personally hold nothing against the lack of eating whatever i want, and i hold social awareness about as high priority as well, something very unimportant. the REAL reason i hate them is kinda embarassing... it's cuz while wearing them i... ... ... can't sing. i... feel i have a good voice, i can mimic quite well almost all of green days songs current and past. (i think billie joe armstrong has one of the most amazing voices ever.) and not being able to sing REALLY puts me at a loss. now about all i've got left is drawing (which i currently am sucking at) and waiting for updates for that delicious online comic i read. it updates every day except on weekends, and the guy's saying how he's likely gonna be cutting down to mon. weds. fri. update schedule. i can understand that, but it's still a loss for me. i'm losing everything lately. just hope i don't lose my mind. *here's hoping* ^^

YARGH! today alone i've drawn about 5 pictures that i hope never see the soft glow of the internet. they were quite wretched. maybe today was just one of those days where i can't draw no matter how hard i try. tho... the night before i didn't sleep at all, i mean, i didn't even get in bed, i was partying with friends and haven't slept in the past 48 hours. but in one more hour it will be the next day. and the curse of the bad luck day should logically be over. {nods}

POWER OUTAGE
the power in my house went out for 4 hours. it was dark and boring. i tried drawing, but i just couldnt do it. the way i draw is: i hold my reference material in my left hand and draw with my right. that's the way it has always been, and that's how it's probably always gonna be. so it was impossible to angle a flashlight in a way that would allow me to draw. if only i had a third arm, i could have done something to occupy myself until sweet sweet electricity was restored.
