Talk about random MKX updates; trying to play a match and we got kicked out because there's a huge update. Is pred already releasing? Or is there some other huge update?

Turns out he ran out of quick finish koins, so he still has his fatalities, they're just wayyyy harder for him to do.

Man, I don't blame him for using easy fatalities though, I'm TERRIBLE at the button combos, especially since I keep pressing B and thinking it's a, haha. Only character I'm good at is Kotal Khan because I've played him enough to memorize his moves.

But thats what the fatality practice is there for! Besides, you could only get easy fatalities as microtransactions from what I've seen. I play a lot of Ermac in MKX, with a bit of Erron Black.

Ah no, you can get easy fatality tokens in then krypt as well! They're rare, but Glen stumbled upon a chest full of them or something. And man, I'm still confusing the xbox controller with the GameCube controller, it'll take me weeks of practice to get the combos right XP
Kotal is gonna be my main until the pred comes out, then I'll switch between the two. Kotal is to MK as Ganondorf is to Smash, best green tough guy.

Well my krypt is empty... so... yeah. Hell, I dont attempt alot of combos. They can be annoying. Nowhere near online matches, but close.

Ah, we're still exploring the krypt, so we've got a bunch of things to unlock!Β I almost always end up accidentally juggling, but its nice cuz it keeps my opponent off the ground. Plus, I love to combo Kotal Khan's special moves - I play as the version where he has a Macuhuitl, so there's a lot of large sword slamming.
I...I don't know how I feel about a Hish version; the Hish still make me angry XP

Ah, I do enjoy how the krypt is its own little game. I shouldn't have rushed going through it. (I may have something I need to grab in the Spider Tunnels.) I rather enjoy being right in my opponents face, never giving them a chance to get a hit in. Slamming guys with swords tend to be an effective strategy
Yeah. The variations are supposedly called "Hunter", "Warrior", and one with Hish in its name. Eh, I dislike the Super Predators, myself.

The little Krypt exploring game is really fun! Glen hasn't unlocked everything yet, so we're still exploring and gathering koins to unlock more things. Eugh, I like being close so I can slap them with swords or my fists, but when you end up against someone playing Erron, close combat gets difficult because they spam bullets at you from far away.
I am super excited to see what Warrior variation would be like! I wanna play as the Predator so badly. And, seeing as I'm pretty sure the Super Predators were a nod to the Hish, or Bad Bloods, I'm pretty sure that by extension makes the Hish sorta crap too. Like, I really hated how they got rid of the honor code and system when coming up with the Hish - it's like the dumb book focused on a band of Bad Bloods or something.

Beating story mode and taking part of faction wars really help with getting a lot of koins. Very true, another character who has annoying projectile spam is Scorpion. (He's my favorite character, but online players spam the hell out of his spear.)
I dislike the Super Predators due to how the movie made them out to be the biggest badasses ever. All of the supplemental material for Predators had them at equal footing with the normal Yautja. I recently re-read that book, and despised it.

Yeah, that's what Glen is doing currently to get more Koins, he keeps playing the Invasion towers and fighting in other faction related things. Man, I try to spam Kotal Khan's sword throw, but he takes a while to implement it, so it's nowhere near as pesky as other long distance spammers.
True enough, if anything the Super Predators from the film looked almost like a completely different species, their heads and faces in general seemed way too long and weird, they didn't look right. And even the more brutal predators in comics and books were just psychotic, they weren't stronger in a more physical sense, just had more of a bloodlust and less of an honor code holding them back.

The mobile game can also be a big help getting koins. However, it'll decimate your phone battery. Kotal has a lot of build up, he's one of the more slower characters in the game. Spam in general is kinda "eh".
Hell, the script for Predators mentioned that the Super Predators had spikes coming off of themselves and black blood. They took away those elements to keep the Super Preds somewhat familiar with the normal Yautja design tropes. The script had also said they hunted for DNA in order to enhance their abilities. Looking back, I really don't enjoy Predators as much as I thought I did.

Aye, I used it to get some costumes. I noticed that, and I rarely play it for that reason. Who do you currently have in your team? Tremor is another character like that, as is Erron Black if one doesn't know how to set up his combos. Spam is an annoyance, pure and simple.
I know, have you seen the concept art for those designs? They were terrible, but there were worse contenders. (Lava predators, ghost predaliens and a bunch of weird shit.) I was okay with how the Super Predators looked in the final product. Yeah, I assumed they hunted for DNA due to all of the promotional material. Man, Glen just plays the towers CONSTANTLY to get more koins, and it works. I don't think I want anymore battery drain games - Hearthstone kills my battery bad enough as is, haha. Ohgod, let me puke now, then. Why would they try to change the race THAT much??? That's so strange. Like, unless they explained what caused the biological and physical changes in another film or a book sequel, I don't think the changes were a good idea. But, if they were to say, "hey, these are a subspecies caused by the break off of the bad bloods and shit got weird because of inbreeding and mixing with other alien races," then maybe I'd be cool. Honestly, the only bit of Predators I liked were the bits with Classic Pred in them.

Yeah? I tear through single matches and online. You play Hearthstone? What is that game even about? I see it all the time and it confuses me. It really depends for me, I really like Ermac because I can get quick combos in. Then you have Tremor which can fuck someones day up over time. I still have to say I like Ermac out of the whole bunch.
Because they probably had action figures or some shit in mind. I didn't read anything as to why they came up with such silly ideas. (There was one where the Super Predators were just hulking beasts. Admittedly, I liked how they looked.) I like the Super Predators as a concept, however their execution leaves much to be desired. Perhaps if they do a retcon or two.... I enjoyed the voice trap scene, and the Yakuza/ Falcon Predator fight. Thats it. I would say I enjoyed the Classic Predator, but I wished the little guy had some scenes where he kicked a bit of ass.
