Oh my I'm so glad that you like Cain now that he is getting so close to being complete. I'm so nervous. I hope he is loved and people want him. His face is so moving to me, even the flawed one I did the faceup on. The flaws fit him.

w00t! w00t! w00t! w00t! w00t! He's looking really amazing! I can't wait to see him all put together. It has to have taken a lot of work and patience to get him looking the way you want. I know it's taken me a LOT longer to get my DZ Hong modded to what I want.

yes a lot of patience... and I have learned that I have to trust my gut. If I could give anyone any advise about how to complete a doll, it would be to listen to your instincts and take what others say in stride. Sometimes someone trying to be helpful just has a different vision... so yeah. It doesn't work when you listen because they don't know the finished look you see in your head. I mean... Cain is not, average for a bjd head.... He's got a broken face. Most sculptors try for symmetry and perfection, and I tried to show the complete opposite. controlled distortion, LOL. I couldn't find anything that looked broken enough to start with so... I started bones up. Even in the unscarred version he will not be perfect because I can't bring myself to change who he is, just lessen the destruction of his face.
