Oh, that's interesting. My character's name is Dren, originally because in the time of making my first character I was rather distressed(and from time to time still am) because of the way I so immaturely acted around people, and so I was thinking of the word "drain", like draining energy from the people around me. I wanted something more alien and fitting for me, who and what I think of myself, and wanted to portray myself as, so I decided upon "Dren". Also I confirmed later that the creature from Splice is named Dren, so twas neat. Dren my PC's story is still intact as he is the apprentice of Tak and the host to her parasitical PAK, and is the catalyst for her will as is the vessel for her inbabitation and an incarnation, like a parasite of the mind as well as the body and all of it's functions. She is, or at one point, was able to control all of his vital functions, down to the chemicals that influence his emotions. The PAK is altered from the inside to the point where she(or the personality download) can only control the machanical limbs of the PAK, and if he is in his irken form and he falls unconscious, she can take full control of his body using his own mind, because she inhabits his mind as well, and that is how they interact. They are almost perfectly in sync physically and in mental capacity, but only their wills and intentions, methods and minds themselves are left to tangle and come apart at the end, and like a frayed piece of robe, Dren begins to become unwoven, and Tak is only one miniscule strand, one facet among his other personalities, all coming apart and scattered, assuming self awareness. Idk why, but i felt like explaining. ^W^

Oh nice explanation! Most people don't really have a backstory for their irken -or even a personality at least- on hatena which makes me somewhat upset. I mean, well it you had the time to come up with their look and design you might as well have the time to come up with a backstory or personality. Right?
