Wow, thanks. I wish I had the money to buy my prints as well as some other people on here. There are so many amazing artists here. If you ever can and have the money let me know even if there is one that prints aren't enabled I will put it up for you. You have some pretty neat stuff in your gallery too. Thanks! I try to keep up with my competition but there isn't much to shoot around here so I have to go out of my way to find it. Makes it much more difficult for me to get the shots others do. I will definitely let you know if I ever do get the money for a print. I guarantee that if I do it will be an Ocelot shot lol. That way it's already narrowed down for you

For me when I have difficulty finding stuff to shoot. I will start taking pictures of random things that no one ever really thinks of, like a cool gear, or part of a clock, a tree branch, whatever else I can think of. This way I can practice my photography and maybe find a cool subject matter to boot.

Yea I do the same. Typically its either macro shots or some random nature photography. I rarely find what I want out of it, but it makes me feel less useless lol!

At least it is practice. By the time you get to take the pictures you want you will be perfect.

I am hoping to go to the zoo, either tomorrow or maybe next week. Hopefully I can get some more kitties.

Yea, I'm heading down the coast next week so hopefully the wild animals will let me close enough, otherwise I'm heading to the nearest zoo lol!

Oh I can't wait. I'm hoping I'll have wireless while I'm gone so I can see all of your new pictures you put up! If not I'll go to McDonalds or something and get some wifi there haha

Oh no problem. You have my favorite animal, the Ocelot, since I was like 8 years old lol. Not just that but you have amazing photos. I wish I had a zoo near me to get pictures like that. I saw your journal I hope you feel better soon

I know how you feel. There's never been a day in my life I haven't had a pet cat that was my best friend in a way. They are such interesting and hypnotizing animals. Do you have a favorite like mine being the ocelot? I studied that cat since I was little worrying over its dwindling numbers. Leopards as well are a close second. I seem to have a thing for the spotted cats the most but I love all of them. I have a siamese right now, she's a loving cat but a pain in the butt sometimes haha.

I had a long stretch of my life (a few years) I was unable to have a cat, my heart felt empty. Dogs aren't the same, I find them many times too needy.

I love all cats but snow leopards are on the very top of my faves. Their quiet way of living in the most harshest environments I find so inspiring. They are loving moms too. I am inspired by their strength.

I feel so sad that so many of our cats big and small are dying off. But it isn't just them, many more species are being hunted to extinction. Sometimes it is nature pulling strings like the poor polar bears. Life goes in cycles, whether or not I like it. Some things I wish would last forever.

I know how you feel. I love dogs but they are needy and very childlike and I just want an animal thats highly intelligent and independent like cats are. They are so cute but so smart and live well alone or with others. They adapt with everything.

I agree. Snow leopards are so amazing I've always admired their strength and caring nature. I used to like them the most when I was younger before I knew of the ocelots but of course that changed but that doesnt mean they are any less great in my eyes.

I hate when anything dies or is diminishing. I wish everything could live forever but then we wouldn't appreciate it if nothing ever changed. I suppose its for the best but I hope they prevail through their hard times

I think you are on to something, things have to end so we can appreciate them, but also to make room for new stuff to take its place. I know there are new species of animals that we have never found on this planet before. Still it is sad when something dies out. Sorry again about the late reply. Yea...I agree. I know for sure I dont want the big cats to go. They are powerful and graceful as well as caring and supportive, no other animal is so much like that. Wolves come close but I still linger on to my cats. I just hope they last a little longer

I am rather miffed that they are thinking of putting wolves on the hunting list where I am right now. Those animals are so beautiful. Their really aren't that many out there too.

There aren't any wolves left here They killed them all off before I was born due to them killing deer, elk, and rarely people but it did happen. I think they're beautiful animals that are misunderstood like most of them are! We're the evil ones tearing down their homes and limiting their food supply and yet we kill them for the things they have to resort to so that they can live. Some days I just really hate the human race, but there isn't anything I can do about it...

Yea they do which is unfair to the one that is misunderstood. I never got to see the wolves, we still have coyotes and foxes so I'm glad they haven't been exterminated as well.
