Live real life? Are you joking? Haha I don't really have a life.. not real life, not internet life... I don't have internet anymore at home so I have to mooch off family and stuff for now. :/

Dang, it sounds tough! I'm pretty worried about where I'll be going for the fall semester. I'm thinking Creighton University since it's pretty close to where I live, and they really want me to go there.

Well that sucks. Don't you have a public library around? That's where I used to go when I didn't have internet at home.

Is it a good school? Does it offer what you're into? I've been trying to choose a uni for years now (I'm in community right now). It really is a tough choice.

Yeah, there is one, but these creepy people always creep on my dA. =.= Usually I go to family members' houses so I can mooch their wifi.

Yeah, it's the best one in the area. The only downside is that it doesn't offer Linguistics, which is the main major I want, but there aren't any colleges here that offer that. Stupid Midwest. u.u It just stinks! I think maybe I'll do my requirements here and go out of state for the rest of it.

Right now? General art. I'm probably going to aim for digital art/animation in the future (hopefully at Digipen if it all works out, or PNCA).

Sorry for the mega late reply. UGh... busy with college junk again.

West coast is my favorite. I've applied and been accepted to two schools in California, one in Washington, and two in Hawaii. I'm thinking California since they're offering me the most money. If I can get a few scholarships, I'll be going in debt-free (which would be awesome).

I'm so jelly. I want to do digital art because it's so gorgeous, but alas... my skills are limited to graphite art and writing. I'm excited for you though. I love digital art!

I know! There was this weird one for the Freemasons where you had to submit a "full-body photo"... I was like "why would they need that???" Eww haha. I didn't get awarded as many as I'd hoped, but I got enough to be able to go out of state with minimal loans. I'm going to California!

Yeah, I've heard digital art is "in" right now. I like both of them, too, but I guess it must be a case of wanting what one cannot have, for me. I really wish I could do digital art better, but I really REALLY suck. Dx

I guess it's in "commercially", but still in a lot of my fine art classes they ignore it or put it down.
It takes a lot of practice to do digital art, especially if you've been doing traditional for a long time because it's like you have to relearn a bunch of stuff. I resented my tablet for the first several months but it grew on me.

Although, I think digital art has weakened me a little bit traditionally in that I am even more afraid to make mistakes because there are no layers or undo button. XD

That's sad. I think fine arts are lovely, but digital art takes talents too!
Ah, so it isn't always just natural, either. I got the feeling (from other digital artists) that it was mostly on feeling as in they never really enjoyed traditional art, but digital was so much more natural to them.

Hahaha! I could see that becoming me if I did digital art. xD I already freak out when I paint because of that.

I WISH it was natural for me. D: I still have a hard time not making wobbly lines in Photoshop.

Sometimes when I'm drawing by hand, I will be thinking "time to hit ctrl+S." That's pretty bad, right?

Wobbly lines are the enemy! But I am beginning to think that the straight line is impossible to do by hand unless you use the specific tools.
