You're welcome. I've always wanted to capture light and color the way that your work does, but am not quite sure how to get there. Any advice, based on what you can see of my work?

In Photoshop I use different filters. I put several layers on each other.

Thank you again for the critque, Its the first one one I've had in a while that was constructive, very impressive gallery as well, love the photos. Noticed too it shows you're from Alaska, may I ask what part? I grew up in the Fairbanks and Anchorage areas, definately miss the scenery.

Thank you so much for the critique actually. I am always looking for them and I take into consideration everything that is said to me.
I realized all of the things you said while I was writing "The Real World" actually but I can be a little stubborn when it comes to needed to change things. I could definitely have changed the ending to not say masturbation or sex because these things actually make a lot of people generally happier but the God part was a must have for me because I am Christian. I know that is doesn't fit everyone's expectations or beliefs but it was a personal touch that makes it more personal to me.
So thank you so much again. I appreciate you reading my work. Also I am glad that you like my username.

Also forgot to say. I chose not to make an audio of it because I have the horrible habit of mumbling when I talk or read aloud. So if I ever have the few hours of spare time it would take me to finally get it right, I'd be happy to upload audio for it.

Heehee - yes, I did. I took a few decent photographs in Darien, and some of the best photography I ever took was in that general neck of the woods (Brunswick, St. Simons, Jekyll). I keep meaning to try to sell some of it through the local Glynn Art Association, but never seem to get around to it. Think the tourists who pass through would be interested in any of my stuff?

You are (quite belatedly) welcome. I'm finally coming back to dA, reupping my account as well, and trying to get back into the swing of things. Some of the local commercial photographers have actually given me a lot of encouraging feedback and hints on how to market my stuff... so who knows? Perhaps you won't be the only semi-(at-least-locally)-famous photographer before too long...
