Dang, your gallery and art style remind me a lot of that book "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark!" Very impressive and with such a bold style! It seems to also have a gothic comic feel with the strong lines and stark contrasts. I look forward to seeing more!

Thank a lot for the compliments. I appreciate it! Yes, goth and the darker the better is my artistic mind frame. My number 1 thing is to draw things that have never been seen before... Then amplify it 1000 times. I would go nuts if I had to draw Spider man swinging thru NYC for like 15 pages.

Now that I'm 666 (in human years), my bat wings should be sprouting in the next 6 months. They'll take another 6 months to form and solidify...
Then I can hit the night skies every night! And no more jet pack pollution.
And you wouldn't believe the jet fuel bills... Yoink! But no more!
I feel like a ghoul visiting his first graveyard... Super excited and tingly!
I also feel like a Transylvanian daffodil blossoming in a field of ancient bones...

Hi Gem. Thank you very much for your kind words and for checking out my art. Yeah, I'm reaaaaaaallly into detail and shadow and using lots of black. In my b&w pieces, I use detail and blacks to create textures and colors. It sounds weird, but it somehow works for me. Cheers and beers!

Thank you for your comments on my coloring! It means a lot because I used only black and white for so long and I have been working hard to learn and understand color. One of the most helpful resources for me was Light for Visual Artists by Richard Yot. It is about light, but it is really more about color because it focuses on how different types of lighting scenarios (day/night/dusk/artificial, etc) effect the color of objects/scenes. Anyway I look forward to more of your artworks in the future. Thanks again ^.^
