I thought of it independently. Though there are other blood artists out there. I just started my own stuff, and after realising how awesome and original it was I did a little research.

I was working with knives, and there was one artist (the one artist that only works with blood, and doesn't just do one off pieces that I know of apart from me) who was acting like he was better than everyone else but used the blood of rattlesnakes and had a nurse take it out of him with a needle. Naturally, I told him he was a fucking baby for being scared of knives and that he had no integrity as a blood artist. For some strange reason he got mad and abused the shit out of me. I just thought it was funny that he was doing it, and he's like 36 or something. So, now the only other real (consistent work, all have blood) blood artist that I know exists is now my mortal enemy. So, since then I've decided to help out other blood artists, introduce blood art to others, and improve my own work. That's basically what OS is about, been abused heaps for what I do, had an exterior article written about me abusing me some more, and I've had the occasional fan along the way. Now in contact with a few other blood artists, introduced it to some, my work is improving, and that's pretty much where I am at the moment. Though my body's a mess with all these scars.

The whole thing's grown way bigger than I thought. I was just doing it for some notoriety in my artwork down in Melb, now I've got other blood artists around the world interested, and working with blood too. It's just exploded, I love being controversial.

Yeah, that guy needs to stop taking himself so seriously. But if I had the chance, I'd be more than happy to take him on in a fight. You know how tall I was in QLD? Yeah, I kind of kept growing. "I drink petrol 'cause I'm a tank" type big if you know what I mean. So, it'd be him regretting him saying shit about me, and then dying.

I admit I'm almost kinda half tempted to do this in a 'painting with blood sounds like it'd have a lovely wet texture.' but yeah...I hate scars. Out of curiosity, tried water painting with it? You'd get a variable hue and the 'paint' so to speak would last longer.

Perky 154cm? LOLLLL!!! I'm sitting at a gigantic 190cm (well, 188 last time I checked, fairly sure I've grown an inch since then). In queensland I was like the second tallest in the whole school. But down here I'm like 10th or 11th. People are massive down here.

Second, yeah, big twilight fan. I remember that, I couldn't figure out why you were all reading the one book. Sophie explained it to me, but I couldn't figure out why they sparkled so I gave up. Are you still in touch with Sophie? I've read the books now, but I was never into them. Books for 10 year old emo wannabes.

No, it wouldn't last longer. Not from my experience. I left a pot of blood diluted with water out on my shelf, I came back in two days wanting to do another painting and it had all rotted. Worst smell ever! Water gives bacteria water and oxygen to breed. Dried blood has less.

Nah, pure blood is better.
