Re: depression, I am right there with you. I've finally (I hope) come to terms with the fact that it's something I'm going to have to live with and manage for the rest of my life, not something like a cold I'm just going to shake off and get back to my "old life." When I switched from trying to figure out how to "beat" depression (like it was a flu) and instead started working out how to "manage" depression (like diabetes), I had a lot more success at getting my life back. Oh, thanks so much! I often think writers like you will not notice one way or another another watcher, but I'm glad I was mistaken. 
My pastor was actually the one who helped me realize that. I'm not particularly religious (well, off and on) but she is a nature-defying force of awesomeness and has already been through everything I struggle with. So yes, all we can do is figure out how to balance our medications and live a vaguely normal life-- I've mostly accepted that I'll never be completely happy, but I don't even think I'd trade it in for anything more normal.
Whew, sorry for that. Whenever someone bothers to talk to me I have far too much to say.

Well, writers on dA are generally much more interested in interacting with their watchers and such than artists, and in any case I wouldn't consider myself nearly popular/busy/arrogant enough to overlook a new watcher (which means a new potential commentator on all my works, most of which sorely need commentary *grin*). Admittedly, the "thank you for faving my recent DD" post was formulaic, but generally I try to comment more individually on even random fav-and-runners. Certainly I would for a watcher!
Hopefully the things I'm working on will be up to your expectations!
I'm glad you're coming to grips with your condition--as I am constantly battling to do! *grin* And it's good that you've got a strong role model like that apparently awesome pastor to help you work on things.

i think the sloppiness really only adds to the effect-- because it is clear that you indeed were not thinking clearly and that it was real, real and terrifying. i wouldn't change a thing.
